Went in to buy a Ford - we would literally have bought the car on the day but the staff were all like the typical wide boy I know better than you type. I went with my mother and remained quiet through the proceedings - we actually found the car we wanted in the car park, gave the specs we wanted i.e. Ex Demo Ford Fiesta but they continually tried to push a NEW car on us - never listened to my mother said. Ignored totally that the car we had actually given almost a 100% match for was in their Ex Demo car park outside. I remained silent right to the end and then when I realised they were trying to fob my poor old mum off I started to ask questions - I am an excellent car mechanic having built my own Kit Car and own several vehicles so I knew about 500 times more than any of these slimy little toads they call salesmen in terms of technical specs , engine capacity and the like - as soon as they realised I was not just the dumb son accompanying his mother they got all defensive. Walked out and would never go back - utterly awful experience for my poor mum - she was so embarrassed! The Asian guy who came in to try and seal the deal was an utter arrogant p***k and I would have knocked his lights out if it was in any other situation - how they can employ d***s like this is beyond me!

He was honest and didn't apply the usual sales pressure tactics or BS, just offered a fair deal and a fair trade-in. Having returned to the garage recently Tom was happy to recommend a Nissan garage to us which helped us find a good deal, even though it was through a different company. Definitely worth checking it out if you are looking to buy a new or recent Toyota.

I only went to this garage because of a recommendation from one of my friends who actully has bought 2 cars from Automarque and they are also very happy. The car was exactly as discribed in the advert and when i picked it up it was spotless both inside and out. The owner couldn't have done enough for me including bringing the car to my home for me to see and on the day I was due to complete the purchase his card terminal went down, so he offered to drive me to the bank to lift the cash to pay. What I should have considered was that if I HAD paid even part of the payment with a credit card, I would have had consumer protection there. I handed over £2650 in cash and was directed to sign a handwritten statement on the sales document to say that I was being given a £200 discount towards repairs. First I'd heard of it! Four days later the timing belt snapped on my car. I had driven less than 100 miles. The car is a total write-off and the owner has ignored my numerous text messages, emails and letters demanding a refund under the Sale of Goods act. Please PLEASE avoid this garage like the plague.

Returned recently to look at their own vehicles - the hybrid Q50 is very nice - and, again, a great experience. On our first visits around 18 months ago, the receptionist took time off from her desk to look after our then-5 year old son, colouring in with him and plying him with orange juice while we browsed and talked to sales staff. Sales staff aren't pushy and are very honest about the size and reach of the business within the UK. You certainly get the feeling of being well looked after, and what I hear of after sales care (of Infiniti as a whole) is very good.
