She first mentioned that would be difficult. Then she said they wouldn't schedule a visit for a Friday. They only send out technicians for stacked units on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Why not just spit it out that you don't want to service a stacked unit and stop beating around the bush? Ridiculous place. I was willing to put up with their 5 hour window for a day as it was, but forcing me to take a day off for them to come when it's only convenient for them is not good for me. Our refrigerator/freezer had stopped working on Friday afternoon, and we called them that evening. They were out to our home before 12 the next afternoon. Shawn was very pleasant and professional. He diagnosed the problem as the compressor starter. We were relieved because it could have been the compressor itself, which would have cost about triple the price of the starter! In Aug 2025 I called Maple Appliance because my washing machine would not drain and spin on most…read moreloads. The receptionist sent someone quite fast and he was pleasant. My washing machine had water and a load in and he went and started and it drained and spun after it had not in my earlier attempts. Repairman said it was working fine and charged me $99. The next day the machine started not draining and spinning again. I called another appliance repairman that a good friend recommended. He ran the machine through several cycles, pulled the back off the washer and advised me that the pump was not working at full power. He replaced the pump and charged me a reasonable fee. The machine has worked fine now over several days and has drained and emptied each wash load. I will not call Maple Applicance again as I feel the repairman did not investigate my washer complaint thoroughly and did not check the pump for proper functioning.
