I decided to visit M Parlor Barber Lounge because I was getting tired of the quick in and out places. I wanted to go somewhere that they don't rush and instead focus on you and your personal hair cut. My barber was Anthony and if you have read any of the other reviews, he is highly recommended. He took the time to learn what I wanted and what would work best for me. Scissor cut, shaved side burns and back of neck, goatee trim, eyebrow trim, shampoo and warm towel. Plus in the Lounge they have soda, coffee, beer, wine and whiskey. Not to mention comfortable chairs to hangout before or after the appointment if you wish. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and had many compliments the next day. I think I found my regular place and barber. read more

Drove 25 minutes to get there on time for 4pm appointment. One barber on site with one customer in the chair. He asked if I called for appointment and I said yes so he knew I wasn't a walk-in. 30 minutes later I'm still waiting and didn't look like other customer would be done soon, and barber didn't come over to let me know what was going on. I got up and told him I was leaving. If you've got one barber there, please don't take my appointment. Or at least let me know what's up. read more

Was truly disappointed today. Even though I live half an hour away, I made an appointment to go back. Had a 2 pm appointment. Got there about ten minutes early. At 2, Donna took the next customer. I figured half an hour, and that would still give me time to make my 3 pm conference call with my clients. 2:30 came and went, 2:35, 2:40, and it became obvious that my time didn't matter. At 2:45 I had to cancel and leave, having wasted two hours of my day, between travel and waiting. No apology. No explanation. When a barber knows she's running 45 minutes behind, there needs to be an explanation, not a "Sure you can't stay?" when the customer has to leave to honor other commitments. Poorly handled. Very unhappy. Really, why accept appointments at all? Will not, cannot, repeat. Don't bother with this place unless your time doesn't matter. read more

Anthony is the best! Hands-down best haircut I have ever received and I get my haircut every week or two. He orders his razor blades from Japan so he can give you the cleanest shave. I have always had problems with razor bumps but this time I did not have any. He even washed my hair after the cut and put gel in my hair and beard oil in my beard. seriously this is the only barbershop you should go to in Naples!!! A nice barber with s membership plan but opened to one timers as well. Nathan gave me a good haircut and took his time doing so. Despite my reduced volume of hair these days, he took a good forty-five minutes to cut and layer my hair. He also gave me a very good shave but the towels weren't very hot. When I walked in there was s beautiful woman at the front to greet the customers. I think she was their as s kind of bait to draw in male customers. But I guess though through no fault of hers it wasn't working. Despite all the chairs there were only two stylists working and they weren't kept busy. Don't go in the morning because there was scotch and beer on the customer amenity table do a five o'clock haircut would be nice. They also had coffee,!water, and sodas which I believe were for the customers benefit but I don't know for sure as nobody offered me any. read more

Luckily I didn't have a wait. There were a few patient people while I was getting a great haircut. The barber Adam was great. He noticed a couple of previous defects and was able to fix them while cutting my hair(s). It's double a normal hair cut but I would do it again without hesitation. I have been a member of M Room for almost a year. Going to the barber was something I would do because my wife told me to get my hair cut but since I became a member I get my hair cut every week and the compliments just never stop. They say they are "more than a barber" and I can attest to that. This place is a pleasure to visit. Coffee, tea, soda, water or even a glass of whiskey while you wait. Is there another barber shop out there that even thinks that way?? Let alone makes it a reality!! The barbers are all awesome people - Allie and Karl are my go to people but if they are not available they other guys all do great work. I've had over 40 cuts since I've been a member and not a single one have I regretted. Over the last 5 months I've been on a mission to try almost all barbers in Naples to see which fits me the best, and this one I had to write a review on. I want to address this review in three parts: the haircut itself, the overall experience and the price. The haircut: 10/10 Jessika was the barber/stylist who cut my hair. I had an image in mind of what I wanted, so after an initial consultation, she went to work on my hair. I was ushered over to the hair-washing station for a shampoo and conditioning treatment (which I did not know was included). Jessika did a GREAT job! She did so well with the fade and my other instructions that she even requested to take a photo of it. The overall experience: 8/10 The music was decent, the design was clean and there was even a little green area for kids (or I guess adults) to put a golf ball into a hole/bucket. The staff was friendly and the checkout process was easy and modern. The Price: -2/10 For a walk-in, run of the mill haircut, I paid a whopping $38.00 WITHOUT TIP. Since the barber did a great job, and I try to always give my barber a nice tip, I gave 30%. My haircut came out to $49.40! NEVER IN MY LIFE have I paid so much for a haircut, and although it's the best haircut in town that I've received thus far, the exorbitant price will prevent me from returning. Locally, you can get a good haircut for $15 plus tip, a pretty decent haircut for $20 plus tip and a nice haircut with a little better ambience for $25 plus tip. But $38??? I don't know what in my experience should've merited such an outrageous price. read more

So, they have this dumb policy where non members can get skipped in line by members. So my son and I go in to get a haircut and there is only one barber. So that's fine we sign in and sit to wait our turn. Then 20 minutes later Nick walks in. He signs in and sits down. Half hour goes by the barber finishes the cut then calls up Nick... are you kidding? You couldn't let us know we got skipped on your slowest day ever. Trying new barbers around Naples and figured with the pricing of this one, it would be the best. I was mistaken. Diana was my barber and the shampoo and wash before the cut was very nice but When it came to the haircut, the fade was very uneven on both sides and she shaved way above my ears. Michelle is great, best haircut I've ever had. Plus a shave with a man's (straight) blade and the attention she gives is amazing. I've been here three times and I only wish they were in my hometown. Tried calling at 6:30pm to make sure they would take me if I was 5 or 10 minutes before they close... no answer. So I get there at 6:50pm and was told they already closed the cash register even though they dont actually close till 7pm. If you dont want clients coming between 630 and 7 just change the hours to 630.. or at least answer the phone and either let people know your closing early or dont close early because you have customers coming.
