After the class the instructor asked me to contact the owner so she in no longer put in this position. I contacted them and their response was completely apathetic to the situation and they did not recognize the need to fix their website or offer an apology. They had total disregard for the situation they created and their language in response to my experience was patronizing. It would not have inconvenienced them to handle their website glitch and customer concern with care.

I have received a wellness consultation there and participated in their bootcamp classes. You also have the option of one-on-one personal training where the attention is all on you and your fitness goals or you can opt for the bootcamp classes (what I did!) which are small groups between 5-10 individuals, where you will will feel like you are in basic training for the Army.:) My experience with bootcamp and trainers: The bootcamp exercises vary...sprints, jumping rope, circuits, abs, squats and more. It's truly one of those feelings where it hurts but feels good. You know what I mean? You know you are working hard but it helps get results. You can burn 700+ calories in just one session! The owner Michael (who also trains) and one of the trainers Tyson (she really works you out!!) really care about your fitness goals and they do not yell at you like in real basic training! In addition to training, Shape Up gives you nutritional tips and also has their own newsletter that includes articles based around fitness/nutrition, as well as a healthy recipe that helps you to stay the course. I felt comfortable and empowered. Alex was great. He gave me great suggestions how to use what I learned at home. The venue is open and has a large breath of equipment to help you focus on training your core and specific muscles groups. I took a Momentum class that gradually builds in intensity. The Focus was on athleticism & endurance where the pace was 6 rotations (2 each at 70 - 80 - 90% off weights) on 6 different stations. Let's just say you can feel the burn! I also got adjust positions based on my flexibility and limitations. I like to give it 100% so I did change too much. It was such a great experience! I could see few monthly classes in my rotation. I really appreciate the private parking too. That's a huge plus for the area!
