We were never paid and still remain unpaid. this was not due to any issue with the work on our end, it was because Alan got into a disagreement with the owner of the property and decided to walk off the job. We did what we were hired to do. After years of a good relationship working with Alan, he has disappeared and will not pay us for our work. I cut out the wet, mildewy piece of drywall and then decided to call American Plaster and Drywall to fix the ceiling after reading some great reviews for them on Angie's List. Jeff Wilson, the owner came over to check out the problem area and his quote was very reasonable. I scheduled an appointment to have the repair done two weeks later. His guys came to replace the drywall and retexture and paint it to match the rest of the ceiling. They did such an amazing job that I literally can't tell where the repair was done. I happily referred them to my parents to have a similar drywall repair done in their bathroom ceiling and they were very happy with the results as well! There were two cracks in a bedroom ceiling that were repaired so amazingly well, you wouldn't realize repairs had been made! Took large amounts of money for a project that was never finished. What he DID do was poor quality…read moreand had to be completely rebuilt from scratch. Poor time management, was always hours later than expected and rarely worked for more than a couple hours in a day. Clearly did not know what he was doing and that should have been communicated from the beginning instead of attempting to do it regardless and wasting thousands of dollars. Fortunately the majority of the materials could be reused, but some had to be trashed entirely.
