Do not get service done at MW Marine my boat sat there for 2weeks even though they told me first come first serve and it should be 1 week I called in two weeks to see if they haven't had a chance to look at my boat and they told me it will be 2 weeks before they can look at it and after 2 more weeks I called an they said we should get it in next week I was not having it I went to pick it up you would think they would apologize for making promises they can't keep but nothing like they don't care I called another marine in the area and they had my boat fixed in one week what a waste of time. purchased a 2013 lund 1650 rebel xlss . was told that every trade they take in is ran through there shop and every thing is gone over and serviced the deal was made on 6 28 25. all i had was thier word and a bunch of pictures.it is now 8 22 25 and i just brought the boat home from a dealer in new jersey who installed a bimni top on it and i had him do an oil and filter change because it was dirty and the filter caseing was all scratched up on the out side. he took me to the shop and handed me the filter.he said i am betting this is the first oil change this motor has had since new.besides this the tail lights on the trailer were messed up half not working,the license plate bracket was missing,the left side guide bunk was broken off which was damaged by the shipper,not thier fault but they replaced it, the radio just plays static and one of the swivel seat is frozen and wont swivel i now have this apart in my garage and soaking with wd 40 to no avail so far. i have owned this boat for just shy of two months and have not got it wet yet,oh did i mention when i started the motor water was not coming out of the pee vent,good thing i ran into this before.i put air pressure to it and a mud wasp or spider nest blew out of there and the water flowed behind it. at 80 years old i damm sure didn.t want to be out there working on something i paid good money for but so much for a line of b.s. from a sales man. and telling you our service dept, is the best. i don't recomend this outfit for anyone who dosen't go in person and really inspect what you are buying.and good luck GEORGE GIBSON 314 E DRUMBED RD VILLAS NEW JERSEY 08251 ANY QUESTION FEEL FREE TO DROP ME A LINE read more

I will start out by telling you that I was trying to find out what I would need to do to sell my deceased brother's boat that was titled and registered in Illinois but purchased in Wisconsin. I reached out to the Wisconsin DNR and after talking to them three separate times I was given three different answers. The third time that I called they referred me to the Illinois DNR and after several attempts with no answer I became frustrated. I was driving past M & W Marine and I decided to stop and inquire with them. Upon walking in I met Mark Gaska, in the sales department and I explained my situation and I asked what would need to be done if they had a boat that would be brought to M & W Marine as a trade in under the same situation. He spoke with me for a few minutes and politely answered all my questions. Another salesperson, Shawn Brigham overheard the conversation and inquired if I ever thought about having M & W Marine sell the boat on consignment. I explained that I did not realize that they offered that service. He asked if he could explain the service and fees. He was very thorough in his explanation. I was so impressed with both Mark and Shawn and how helpful they both were that I filled out the contract to sell the boat on consignment. Shawn kept me well informed during the process and did a awesome job of selling the boat in a relatively short period of time and he brought in a very respectful offer. The fees that I paid were exactly as stated to me when we signed the contract. Mark and Shawn I want to thank you both for all your help. Don't do it. Go elsewhere. We used MW Marine last fall for the winterization of our 2 yr old Sea Ray. First boating day this year, upon starting the engine, there was an alarm that would not stop. Took the boat back to MW. After two days on the lot I called to get status. They said our boat is next. Phone call to us on the third day telling us they forgot to re add the gear oil at winterization. We picked up the boat that night. NO ONE apologized. We noticed 10 mins later when we were backing up the boat in the storage facility, that one of the trailer lights was smashed and dangling by a wire. Took the boat right back. Asked for owner/manager. Told him the situation he said he'd have one of his guys "get right on it" and walked away. AGAIN NO APOLOGY. Service tech was efficient and replaced the tail light while we waited. When he was done HE apologized. This week we went to pick the boat up at the storage facility and again saw new oil on the floor. We got under the engine ourselves and realized the problem was that they had never re tightened the gear oil drain screw. We tightened the screw ourselves and topped off the oil. No thanks to MW. Almost a second outing ruined and who knows the potential damage to the boat. Three strikes and you're out. MW is not for me. read more

Took my boat in, they didn't fix the problem and I noticed I new problem was present.

My girlfriend and I have had nothing but bad luck here. One thing they did do good was repair a motor that wasn't running right. Now my girlfriend has had bad dealings with this company for several years (30+). We just (when I say just I mean 5 weeks ago) bought a new boat and put money down and we were told it was going to be 3 to 4 weeks to get in. That was fine with us and with fishing season opening soon and we would be heading north the timing was just fine. NOW they said they never told us 3-4 weeks that it would be 4-6 weeks. This is NOT acceptable. They said that they never told us that. Now it looks like we will miss out on taking our new boat up north with us. If you decide to deal with these people get EVERYTHING in writing. I know of another person in her family that also bought a new boat and its been 2 months and he's still waiting. All they needed to do is be straight up with us and we would be happy with the truth than being mislead. If they did that I would have giving them more stars because the sales guy was helpful and well versed in the product. read more

Unreliable and RUDE!!! "Winterized" our boat last year, but never changed or topped off fluids, left the engine case filthy and there were broken parts. We discovered this when opening it up this summer. Even though our boat was shrink wrapped and stored afterward, the owner states that all of this happened over the winter and denied any wrong doing. This is not even a logical statement from a very cocky individual! I would not recommend this place to anyone!!! No service recovery or ethics on the owner's part! read more

Took our boat to have the scag replaced. When we received our boat back the boat had no battery power. So basically I got the boat back in worse shape than when I left it. I asked if something was Bumped or left on and all I got was the owner calling me a liar. He was very arrogant and rude. I blew him off and went inside and did find someone at the counter who seemed concerned. She said they will look at the boat and talk to the guy who worked on it to see if he bumped something and go from there (he was out). I clearly informed her I didn't have any more money to put toward the boat so I would need a call before anything that most money is done. The next day I got a call from the guy working on it and he asked where the switch was for the exhaust, I told him I was a work so we didn't talk long. They then called my wife and said you owe us 200 plus dollars for the diagnosis. This is money we don't have she informed the caller of the situation and what happened. She said she can have the owner talk to us. He called my wife the next day and was very rude and arrogant calling us liars, telling her we have money cause of where we live and was an overall chest pounding arrogant douche. He told us to pick up our boat and never come back. He said his employee would never have said that they would look at it at no cost but he wasn't there so he was talking completely uneducated. I feel worse for his employees if he treats his customers like this I can't imagine what they go through. I am guessing she lied and said she didn't say that cause who knows what this psycho would have done. If he would have taken the time to see I was a customer for the last 5 years spent thousands of dollars he would have figured out I was a great customer and would not have wasted time making up some story. I paid for the diagnostics which they slightly discounted and took it to a different shop. The diagnostic sheet I got stated they can't even fix it in the first place. What a mess of an organization. As I distribute this throughout social medial hopefully he learns simply being nice gets you a lot further than being an arrogant no it all that can't shut up for 2 minutes to be quite and listen to what someone has to say instead just sitting there enjoying hearing himself talk. read more
