It sank to the bottom of the lake and we couldn't retrieve it. We were a little worried that we'd have to pay for it, but the staff at Beachside was extremely understanding and cool about it. We he arrived, he was rude, yelled and told me to back up the jet ski as he had to move his trailer onto the cement ramp. I moved back per his directive, he yelled again and told me I was too shallow and probably ruining the jet ski. He pulled it out, looked at it and told me the jet ski was fine. He then explained he was late as one of his other jet ski's sunk in another lake. During this ordeal, I had 3 other people witness this situation. One week later I received a bill in the mail with an additional $600 charge applied to my credit card. I immediately called to find out why and was told rocks had ruined the propeller when I backed up into the shallow water. Recall, this was the owners demand. I explained the situation, but they insisted it was my fault. I called the credit card company to dispute charges. Good Time Rentals informed the credit card company that we did not pay for 'their insurance,' therefore, we were liable. I spoke to Good Time Rentals and asked for an itemized repair bill. At first, they told me they sent it out for repair. Now, they claim, they fixed it in-house and do not have an itemized bill. If they really a repair, they would have a bill or a bill for parts used. Again, I've called the credit card company with a fraud complaint. I've also issued a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Beware, DO NOT RENT equipment from Good Time Rentals. You will have a 'horrible time' in dealing with their dishonest business practices.

I've purchased multiple Hewitt lifts from this company and have experienced the same issue with…read moreeach one. I'm not sure if it was a manufacturer defect, or if it wasn't assembled properly by Good Time Rentals (also known as lakeside solutions). The planks which the boat sit on consistently lean to the point that the boat looks like it's going to fall over (see photos of company under google review for my specific lift). Unfortunately Kathy and Ken have been COMPLETELY unresponsive in my request to get this fixed. They admitted something was amiss with the lift and haven't seen the issue often, but have failed to offer any solutions or assistance even though the lift is still under warranty. Both of the owners screen my calls and will not answer their phones. Every once in a great while I receive a text message they'll take a look at it, but they've never made good on this. Long story short, don't touch this company with a ten foot pole. I'm also filing a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and Hewitt lifts about the TERRIBLE customer service I've experienced over the last two years.

The battery was wired incorrectly, so even when battery switch was in off position, there was a small power draw, and if the boat seat for more than a week, the battery would be dead. Skipper Buds was little help with these problems. If they inspected the boat after the test drive, they would have detected the first problem. Altogether, these problems affected the first two Summers I had the boat. I would have expected a call from the sales or general manager, at some point. Clearly, when the sale is over, you are "on your own" dealing with problems, even if the boat was only 3 days old, and had less than 2 hours of use! I would not do business with Skipper Buds again.

I had recently had surgery, and needed a sofa, or two chairs, that had electric foot rests. It needed to be a specific size for our camper. When we met Lucas, he really was listening to what we wanted. I was using a walker, and he was so kind to make sure I was comfortable. He showed us so many options, and dragged them to electric outlets so we could try them out. He answered all of our questions and really knew the products. We ended up buying a new sofa and two chairs for our camper. They were exactly what we needed. We were able to go home and pick up our trailer to pick up our items. We also wandered around the store a lot and found so many things that we were happy to see that they carried. Those weird parts that are hard to find, fun items that you don't need, but really want, and other things we didn't know we needed or wanted. We will definitely be returning to the store. Our family was visiting for the weekend and we decided on paddle boats as a fun group activity. We…read morevisited on a Saturday around 12 PM and High Roller was not busy. They had plenty of bikes and paddle boats available for rental. But there were not a ton of paddle boat options for families with young children . Our group had two families, one with a 3 year old and the other with a 3.5 and 5 year olds. We only had three paddle boats to choose from, a blue dragon, a green dragon, and a pirate "ship." We went with the green dragon paddle boat. The front has two seats for paddlers and there are two more seats in the back. We opted to have our two young children sit between us instead of in the back because I couldn't trust them to sit still and not try to stand up and/or lose balance and fall into the water. It is $10 per paddler for 30 minutes which is more than enough time to go from the boarding dock to the fountain and back. It is not as easy as it looks and it does require some effort. Safe to say, it was a good leg and core workout and it prepared us for the hearty lunch that followed.

I had to park my boat somewhere else when it arrived because it wouldn't go on lift. After having to move lift further out ourselves, we put the boat on it. Then a cable snapped and ripped through our brand new lift. My husband and I saw a crew members after who wasn't even an employee pull a piece out and spent about 10 minutes trying to put it back. It was a pin that holds a pully for the cable to ride on. When he put pin back, the pully was not in place and was inside the tube. I let them know what happened. They said they don't service my lift brand and that's not how they adjust the legs. I know that's not how they should adjust legs but it's what this inexperienced mad did. It caused about $1,800 in damage to my lift. And then they wanted us to pay for them putting out lift in. When we refused, they sued us. Beware. The owner never contacted me either. He has his office manager email me.
