We went into the store and talked to Cosimo. He was easy to talk to, explained the pros and cons of different surfaces, and answered all of our questions. As soon as the product was in, we were contacted and scheduled the work to be done. The job was replacing three bedrooms with laminate, however after they pulled up the carpeting, they found two spots that needed to be leveled. This was done quickly and didn't end up adding any time to the job, they actually finished before they said they would be done, even with the extra work that needed to be done to level and grind down the concrete! Cosimo and his crew were excellent to work with and I honestly would encourage you to reach out to them if you are thinking about changing floors OR if you need ideas/suggestions! We are so happy with the quality and efficiency of the work, the communication with Cosimo and his team, and of course, the finished product looks amazing!

Our first impression of Arizona Tile was mixed. The entrance is somewhat difficult to locate and…read morenot very visible, but once we found it, we were greeted by a friendly front office employee who promptly escorted us to the showroom after we asked where to find travertine and porcelain tile with a travertine appearance. Unfortunately, that was where the positive experience ended. We spent approximately 5-7 minutes in the showroom looking at products on our own. During that time, we observed at least four employees walking around, several focused on their cell phones, yet not one acknowledged us or asked if we needed assistance. At that point, we concluded that the business must be doing well enough that it could afford to overlook potential customers. We left and drove across the street to Bedrosians Tile & Stone. The difference in customer service was immediate. We were greeted as soon as we entered, asked about our project, and an associate personally guided us through the showroom to help us find exactly what we were looking for. Ultimately, we purchased approximately $46,000 worth of tile from Bedrosians--business that could have easily gone to Arizona Tile had someone simply taken a few minutes to assist us. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Arizona Tile, particularly to homeowners or non-contractors seeking guidance. If customer service is important to you, I highly recommend Bedrosians Tile & Stone, where the experience was professional, attentive, and customer-focused.

I would say Villagio has the best selection of accent tiles I have seen in the Phoenix area, and trust me, I have seen every tile store! My husband and I worked with Dakotah, who is a very delightful and PATIENT young lady. We took months trying to figure out what tile we wanted. Then I went with a look my husband wanted and I did not. Don't do that. Figure out something you both like. When our installer brought our tile, I hated it. I could not blame Villagio for my mistake, but I would suggest asking to see additional sample pieces or ordering a few sample tiles before placing your final order. The one tile in the showroom does not always accurately represent what all the tiles in a full order will look like. This is true at any tile showroom. In our case the tile in the showroom had very little pattern. The actual tiles ranged from almost all white to ones with very large and distinct fake looking patterns, and there were lots and lots of tiles with the same patterns. Not all tiles will be like that, but learn from my mistake. Villagio does not take returns (it is in the contract you sign). We figured we were stuck with it. The installer started putting it on the shower walls, and I became more and more depressed. I finally told them to stop, and we decided to take the loss on the tile and installation to that point. We donated the remaining tile to Habitat for Humanity. Expensive lesson learned! We ended up finding a floor/wall tile at another tile company in Scottsdale. That other place charged shipping on top of the tile price quoted to us, for normal shipping, not expedited shipping. Villagio does not charge for normal shipping. An accent tile we bought in our original order from Villagio was the only thing we both loved from that original design choice. We left that up in the shower, and I ordered more from Dakotah. Turns out I did not order enough, as I found out when the installers started over this week. But Garrett, who is my tile contractor's go-to guy at Villagio, somehow managed to come up with not only my reorder, but also the additional amount we needed, as well as a matching backsplash tile, all in time to start my (re) tiling job as scheduled. He did not add extra charges for the rush delivery (although I imagine they normally do). All in all, it is definitely worth visiting Villagio for extensive tile choices and friendly, helpful service. Just be very sure about what you are ordering before placing your order.

They also provided a professional, accurate, and detailed estimate while clearly telling me what might cost more once they get in there (e.g. leveling the floor). The work was done with the kind of craftsmanship I expected from my meticulous grandpa (that is.. they know what they're doing and do it properly!) They are very unorganized and terrible at communicating. Years later, we are still finding issues from their terrible work. After they finally finished, we contacted them several times to come a fix issues for their work. They would send different people each time that didn't understand or know about the issue. Their "fix" was equally bad. They are not BBB accredited, which should tell you all. They will make excuses as to why they don't have this BBB accreditation. Also, a quick search at the Arizona Registrar of Contractors shows they are not licensed in Arizona under Alex's name (the owner) or "Desert Custom Flooring." It also appears that they have not formed an official company with the Arizona Corporation Commission under the name "Desert Custom Flooring." I suspect they are not BBB accredited, not licensed, and don't have a corporation in Arizona under their trade name because they don't want a place where their dissatisfied customers can lodge formal complaints. The bottom line is don't hire them.

HEALTH HAZARD: Failed to remove Gyp-Crete underlayment after water leak (standard practice for 50+ years). Didn't replace flooring under refrigerator adjacent to leak epicenter. Guest bathroom "repair" cosmetic only - ignored actual water damage. Environmental testing: 115x normal airborne mold levels. Immediate evacuation required. Forced into 12-month alternative housing. WHAT THEY MESSED UP: Improper water remediation with resulting mold from guest bathroom leak. Insurance denied coverage for workmanship. Forced to pay for all repairs out of pocket. Flooring: 428% markup, cheap laminate without cork underlayment (creates echos). Recommended herringbone pattern for highly irregular space, looks terrible ( pattern used only for square/rectangular rooms). Master bathroom: defective tile work, installed broken shower column with absurd double rain shower configuration, large pendant rain shower on low ceiling and redundant shower controls. Requires accent wall removal/retiling with all new hardware. I redesigned entire shower myself in 15 minutes at design studio, Crafted did not even put in this much effort. Painted entire unit yellow without authorization while I was out of town, no samples provided. Charged for column plaster never performed (only "necessary" because they cut floors improperly). Double-billed for baseboard painting. Different subcontractors daily with poor supervision. Attempted to enter property without permission (after being told twice to stop work) in order to lock in substandard plumbing. Took paid materials when terminated for cause. Also left unit unlocked for a week while I was working out of town. REFUSES RECEIPTS: Attorney demand letter sent requesting receipts and documentation. 6+ weeks - zero response. Claims it is "not industry standard" to keep receipts for such projects. TOTAL DAMAGE: Mold remediation, kitchen/guest bath reconstruction, master bath corrections, repainting entire unit, 12 months alternative housing, moving expenses. Over $150,000 out of pocket to fix their work with one year of planned relocation. LEGAL ACTIONS: ROC complaint filed (inspection Feb 2026), Attorney General complaint filed, BBB complaint filed, preparing for lawsuit. Will update review once completed. Despite creating uninhabitable conditions, only response from Crafted is a demand for an additional $21,092. Other contractors confirmed 4+ units in my building were properly remediated from similar leaks. Crafted did not recognize Gyp-Crete underlayment despite removing all flooring (acts as sponge when wet). Photos/video: mold report showing 115x normal airborne spore levels, yellow paint, haphazard shower install, broken shower column. I would appreciate if Crafted responds with receipts rather than emotions. My attorney requested itemized invoices 6+ weeks ago. Still waiting.

It has been a few years, but I could not recall the name of the company and I just found their card. I had chosen nearly white tile for the bathroom. The tile was placed when I was at work and I came home to find that the tile, already install, was an ugly grey. They claimed you never know what will come out of the quarry!. Then I came home to find the backsplash was horrible. the tile was crooked and some edges actually stuck out from the wall. The owner became angry when I told him it would have to be redone. They took the tile off, gouged into the plaster wall under it. The company who brought them in agreed the jobs they did were horrible.

The flooring vendor was great to work with they had good options. The workers who completed the work in our home were kind and efficient. They had our floors done in about 3 days. It was great.
