Ian told me not to buy the floor model and instead come to the store for a brand-new one at the same price. I called him on Monday to make the purchase. He answered and said he couldn't talk but would call me back in a few minutes. He never did. After that, he didn't answer calls, respond to texts, or return messages. Following my very first conversation with Ian on the phone it was practically a done deal that I would be purchasing a boat from M2O Marine as an out of state buyer. Ian gets customer service and really wants you to be happy and end up with the right boat for you. I was overly delighted when we took delivery of our new boat as the whole experience was outstanding. Upon arrival on a Saturday morning Aaron met us and already had the Yamaha 242 Limited SE attached to his truck to take us to a local lake for a few hours to demonstrate how everything worked out on the water. What a knowledgeable and outstanding guy - he really carried on the high level of customer service that started with Ian. After our time on the water we went back to the office to finalize the deal - I was so pleased to see that all the paperwork coincided exactly to what Ian and I had previously agreed to on the phone. As the old saying goes, the two happiest or best days of a boater's life are the day they buy a boat and the day they sell it. I'm not sure if I agree with the latter of the two since I sold my last boat due to necessity. I was really bummed when I sold it and I've always said that selling it was one of my biggest regrets. After a month or so of enjoying our new purchase on the weekends it was time to do the "break in service". Brett was quick to answer my call and set us up with an appointment on a Friday. Brought my boat here for service two years in a row. In the beginning everything went smooth for the first year. Then the second year came and everything went sour... When I decided to do some major work to the vessel, A-Z is what I explained what I wanted done (Motor 100 hour service, gauges didn't work properly, full on detail service, SAFETY check and fiberglass work). Spoke to Brett (Service manager) and was told the work will be done. Which is what we were expecting... work was performed but lots of things were done poorly/ if not done right. More to add but no need to go into it. Let's put it this way, the manager was very unprofessional when pointing out the problems / mistakes.
