I have been putting off far too long seeking out a professional to sharpen an older but high-quality pair of pinking shears. These shears are from the 60s, Wiss brand, and Marc at Edge Your Craft brought them back into sweet sharpness in no time. If that isn't enough, his prices are so reasonable! I also had him sharpen my regular sewing shears. It turned out I could wait for him over the course of about an hour for 4 pairs to be sharpened!! When I first met Marc, I knew immediately he was a stand up guy. Extremely professional, respectful, and outgoing. If he comes into your establishment, he's quiet and respectful of the space and its patrons. He works meticulously and thorough. GREAT LEFT HANDED SHEAR SHARPENER. I am a lefty and was very cautious after having many failed attempts with shear sharpening from others. Marc was very patient and able to reassure me he could sharpen my left handed shears. The service was quick and good quality. I asked for a quote on the yelp app and he got back to me with a reasonable quote in a couple hours, if not sooner. I brought in a buck knife with a four inch blade and a standard chef's knife. Total came to $12 for the two knives. The blades are holding up well so far, very sharp.
