Although the staff at this dental office have always been friendly in their demeanor, the quality of care I received left a lasting impact--and not in a good way. During a visit for two fillings, the technician applied numbing gel to my gums but didn't allow it time to take effect before administering the injection. The pain was excruciating. From there, the procedure became overwhelming. I understand that certain tools and techniques are necessary, but the manner in which things were done felt incredibly inconsiderate. Instruments were inserted without any reassurance or concern for how I was coping. I was visibly shaking and crying from the intensity of it all, yet not once did anyone pause to check in or ask if I was okay. The experience made me feel less like a patient and more like a task to be completed. Compassion should never be optional in healthcare, especially during moments of vulnerability. Called and scheduled an appointment for a cleaning specifically. I showed up and they wouldn't do the cleaning, insisting that I come back for a different appointment for a cleaning since it was already 3:30 and they close at 5 (I'd already been there for 30 minutes). Why schedule my requested cleaning appointment at 3 pm when I call if you know you won't actually do the cleaning? Just completed wasted my time and obviously just trying to double bill me. I was completely surprised! My 6 year old had a front tooth that had to be extracted. She was a little nervous but the way Dr. Frankie and her assistant interacted with her made her feel safe and happily distracted without any surprise pain! This was the perfect experience for my little girl!!! She even told her siblings at home how it wasn't scary and it didn't hurt at all! If I could give less stars I would. The are like a auto repair shop that makes things up and over charges. Both my wife and I, on separate occasions have gotten hounded for money AFTER a year, both were Mabank Dental over charging in basic cleanings and ex-rays to get more than the set price from dental insurance. They are notorious for billing above and beyond BC/BS. My wife just got a $381 refund after fighting for a YEAR! They know that people MUST pay the extra money or be sent to collections and their credit will be hurt. Snakes read more

This business is EXTREMELY crappy! I called this morning asking if my daughter could be seen because she had been crying complaining of pain in ONE of her teeth. The lady Elizabeth was very sweet and understanding, and scheduled my daughter an appointment for 1pm. The issue is with the office manager Maryland. She decided to call back and tell me that my daughter HAD to go to the children's surgery center. I explained it had been MONTHS and I haven't heard anything, and it was important for her to be seen. She was extremely RUDE, nonchalant, and cut me off mid sentence SEVERAL times. I don't care what type of business you have but when you work healthcare you do NOT turn away clients especially when they're complaining about being in pain. She then rudely told me that she was 3 and wouldn't sit still. I explained she would be 4 in one month, and her dentist Dr. Donohue complimented her at her last visit saying she sat still and would probably do okay getting her work done. HOWEVER, he wanted to send her to the surgery center due to the fact she was being seen by a pulmonologist. She was CLEARED for dental work. I even told Maryland that I would provide a doctors note if needed. SHE DID NOT CARE. This office had no rightful reason to turn my daughter away while she was in pain. She was literally only needing to be seen for the ONE tooth that was causing pain. We could've went to the surgery center for the rest at a more convenient date. I will be finding a new dentist for her. I strongly recommend NOT going here. They do NOT care about your kids. we've supported this business for years. Moving out here as a military family- our entire family has used this office and that ends now. read more
