This cute French bistro reminds me of the bistros I enjoyed in Paris…read more The Ambiance: Cute "very French" styled bistro with limited table availability with 7 tables two high tops and 8 bar stools inside and 3 outside tables. If you want to know how the French dine, this is the place for you. The Food: This where the bistro shines. I chose the Les OCufs Gratings which featured baked eggs with soft center, a touch of cream & melted Swiss cheese. I added the ham and spinach optional. The dish was accompanied with a toasted baguette. It was a fantastic dining experience!! In addition to my entree I also tried their raisin roll which was a wonderfully light and crispy pastry that represents French pastries beautifully. One negative, I ordered a black tea (only offered Earl Grey) and steamed milk (got hot milk). You would think a place that offers cappuccinos and lattes could be able to provide steamed milk but, obviously not here. However, I must admit, although I don't like Earl Grey tea, this version was actually ok. Service: Where the ambiance and food scores 5 stars, the service drags it all down to a 3 star experience. My server deserted me after I placed my order. Asking for more hot water (for my tea), another honey packet or anything else required me getting up and searching for "anyone" to assist. The Bottom Line: As always, my "customer so what"... would I come back: Most likely, because the food and atmosphere were exceptional, I'd more than likely put up with the service. If you don't mind paying the price of being ignored to "eventually" enjoy a fantastic meal, you'll like this bistro.

The fruit tart is exceptional and the macrons are always delicious. The restaurant has a country bistro feel to it although the seating is not terribly comfortable. However, the service is always slow - - whether eating in or taking out.

The tea house itself was unique and the perfect vibe! The staff were such a pleasure. They were attentive and personable... an overall joy. We'll definitely come back for a visit!

Friendship…read more Sometimes you just need a good tea with a lifelong friend. When one of my besties told me that she and her hubby were moving to West Palm Beach to escape the winters of PA, I was so surprised. My grandparents moved to WPB in the 1920s. I have so many great memories of WPB because we lived with them for a while. I even started kindergarten in WPB. So visiting my friend is like visiting home. Good friends are the family that you choose. Filled with love and special memories. So nice to be able to celebrate life with my bestie at a Royal Holiday Tea on a sunny Monday in West Palm Beach. Just off Dixie Highway, Serenity Garden Tea House & Cafe is so charming. The historic 1919 cottage reminds me of my grandparents' Florida home, a small cottage on Dixie Highway with a garden filled with fruit trees. The cute dining rooms are filled with vintage furniture and china donated by patrons. They even have an iconic British red telephone booth. So warm and cozy. Lots of parking available. The Royal Holiday Tea was perfect. A pot of Earl Gray. Champagne or sparkling cider. A sweet potato and pear bisque to start. Next the tower of tea treats. Scones with clotted cream, lemon curd and homemade strawberry jam. Brings me back to my Liverpool roots. Tea sandwiches. Cucumber, egg salad, tuna and turkey. Topped with a selection of sweet treats-chocolate brownies, cream puffs and chocolate dipped strawberries. A perfect afternoon with a bestie. Sharing memories while celebrating life. L'chaim. Cheers to a beautiful new year. Celebrating 2026. #1

We ordered the scones and charcuterie to start. The scones were PHENOMENAL!!!! The butter it came with was shaped into ice cream. The taste was so buttery, fluffy and warm as if it was straight out of the oven. There was a sweetness to it. Gosh they were so delicious! Beware of the charcuterie though, as it did NOT come with cheese. I actually sent it back because the whole point of why I ordered it is because I am a cheese connoisseur. The waiter switched the charcuterie meat platter and brought over an actual cheese platter with Brie, other cheeses, nuts and grapes. For my main course, I ordered the steak and eggs which tasted amazing. They came with potatoes and tomatoes. I ordered my steak medium and eggs overboard. I loved how there was grilled onions that came atop the steak. For dessert, we ordered the Tarte aux Fraises which consisted of strawberries, vanilla cream and basil ice cream. Overall magnificent experience!! Will definitely be back.

People that arrived 40 minutes after us were eating while we waited. No apologies. No explanations. The food came a few minutes later. Obviously had been under a heat lamp because the chicken had a gleam and the fish was dry. Put the food in front of us with no explanation and no introduction. If you gave any self respect, dont waste your time.
