The course design was okay, mostly just flat straight shots with some holes and most of the hole in ones you can get area from hitting it directly at the hole and not taking the fun route. I think this is good if you want to eat your captain sundae while playing, but there are better mini golf places in the area if you're going for mini golf.

Visiting the Holland area and stopped in on a Saturday night to try the GoKarts with the kids…read more Absolutely nobody was in the arcade or concession stand, but the tables were all filthy. Headed out to the track - workers seemed nice and friendly. There were about 10 cars ready to drive around. Once the GoKarts were let loose, it was very clear that two kids were driving recklessly and dangerously. One girl - probably about 8 yo - crashed so violently that her shoe flew off onto the track. The employees allowed her to continue driving putting others in danger. She crashed at least twice more - and I'm not talking about bumping into the rails or accidentally clipping the bumper of the car in front of her. When you have a track full of customers, their safety must be a priority.

The tokens get loaded on a gift card-like card and tap like Apple Pay for the machines. No tickets loading or unloading! Slice of pizza is $3.50 ($2.95 at urban air) 16oz Soda is $3.75 ($2.95 at urban air) Every $25 is about 15 minutes of play with a kid if you are playing claw machines and a few ticket games. They have rooms for hosting parties. Laser tag and dark mini golf / put-put available. Compared to Craig's Cruisers, their prices are half. The VR attraction would have been twice as much at Craig's Cruisers. If you want go-karts, go to Craig's Cruisers. Otherwise they have the same things besides go-karts. The little one is not really interested in the mini golf or laser tag so we just buy tokens.

Today we went to The Lost City arcade in Holland. The staff was exceptional!…read more Ryan was so kind and helpful. He walked us through laser tag and what to expect. We had dinner plans but got a snack while we were there and the "Bosco sticks" with ranch were so delicious! They were hot, crispy and topped with parmesan. And they had our favorite Spindrift water! The prices were super affordable and the games had a great selection of variety for all ages. We all had a blast! Highly recommended!

A few of the holes need the greens replaced. The walkways are brick and a bit uneven and do have tripping hazards so you need to be careful. There are some steps and bridges across the creek but there are no handrails on any steps or the bridge. The price is very reasonable. Some upgrading does need to be done.

Finally got to the register and the cashier called back for my order to be brought out by guess who, the same person I asked the first time.

Went to the Dick's Sporting Goods in Holland because they had a particular baseball bat my son…read morewanted to buy and the online inventory showed they had the two different sizes he was interested in. We got to the store and they did indeed have the bat in both sizes....unfortunately most of the bats at Dick's have a theft prevention device affixed to the middle of the bat. This device not only adds weight, but affects the balance of the bat, so you can't get an accurate feel for a bat with this stupid thing attached to it. So, I found the sales associate working in the baseball section and asked if they could remove the security device so my son could determine which of the two bats he wanted. The sales associate said that they couldn't remove it. What?!?! You've got to be kidding me! Now, I could have just bought the bat, had my son check it out, and then return it, but that really doesn't make much sense now, does it? I promptly walked out of the store, frustrated that we drove 30 minutes for that! A great example of a customer service failure. Won't be going back to the Holland store again, I'll stick to the Rivertown store from now on (the location where we did end up buying the bat). Neither location has great service, seems to be common thread with most of the DSG's I've been to. Only reason we didn't go to Rivertown in the first place was because their website didn't have an accurate inventory of the bat being in stock. Go figure.
