Headed out to the track - workers seemed nice and friendly. There were about 10 cars ready to drive around. Once the GoKarts were let loose, it was very clear that two kids were driving recklessly and dangerously. One girl - probably about 8 yo - crashed so violently that her shoe flew off onto the track. The employees allowed her to continue driving putting others in danger. She crashed at least twice more - and I'm not talking about bumping into the rails or accidentally clipping the bumper of the car in front of her. When you have a track full of customers, their safety must be a priority.

I cheated. I cheated on the boy…read more I cheated on the Frosty Boy. I cheated on the Frosty Boy with Double Dip Depot! It all started on a smoky, 87 degree Saturday in July when our camping plans got a rain check and we were open for a good time. Big Mini Putt Club was initially discussed but nixed because we weren't feeling the downtown vibe or $12 a person/9 holes. Then, we looked up AJ's mini golf but they had a private event scheduled. Yelp suggested Double Dip and after one ring, the employee on the telephone sold us with $3.50/person for 18 holes and recommended we come before 7p (thanks for the tip!). We parked, watched the first half of England vs. France at Walker Roadhouse and walked right over to the Depot. The course was perfect (no waiting around and lots of shade) for our 4 year old who got her first hole in one on the 15th! The ice cream/cone of ice came out quick (no line either) at 6:30p and we had our choice of picnic tables with umbrellas to enjoy. Overall, great family date night! We rarely frequent the west side, besides for the zoo, but will have to plan another trip before the summer ends. These things can happen, but it might help to encourage staff to mention this to folks who order food so expectations are clear. We also noticed there's no system to help the runner find the outdoor table where the food should go. Poor guy was not set up for success and had to walk all over the place to get the food to the right people. A system that pairs a table with a number might resolve this really easily. Food was tasty. Beers were great and we really got a laugh from the creative names y'all use. Staff we met were thoughtful and had great energy. I'd definitely recommend, but on a busy night you may have a bit of a wait for food.
