The crew they dispatched to remove the damaged carpet and install the new one worked quickly, efficiently and had my new carpet installed in an hour. They cleaned as they went and left the bedroom squeeky clean. The cost for the Mohawk brand carpet 174 sq ft including installation was $1600 - exceptionally reasonable for this beautiful, tough carpet designed for family living. When Tao first came by for a free estimate, he had great suggestions to make the space look larger and more open. We wanted to try to match the existing hardwood floors we already had as much as possible. Tao immediately knew what kind of floors to use and he even had samples on hand so that I could compare them with our current floors. Tao's estimate was very reasonable and comparable to other companies I reached out to. I went with Tao because of his background as a designer and I trusted he would make sure the floors look great! It ended up being a great decision because we are very happy with our new floors! The installation process was very smooth and even finished earlier than expected. Tao stood out for how knowledgeable he was. First, he was clearly knowledgeable. Based on photos alone, he corrected me that the wood was not mahogany (as our home inspector said) but instead Brazilian cherry. I verified that he was correct with the listing agent. No other company did this. Second, he had the lowest quoted price for the job. Third, after I selected him, he was transparent about tradeoffs rather than purely trying to upsell me. For example, he quoted me on installing wood registers everywhere when I asked, but recommended I do so only in the hallways. This advice saved me $1k and delivered a result in very happy with. Beautiful Flooring. Disapointig customer service experience…read more I recently purchased and installed LVP I purchased from DEBSAN in downtown Natick. The flooring is beautiful but I am disappointed in the way a few of the personal interactions went. 1. I always do my own measurements so I can estimate costs while shopping.. The installer Debsan sent came up with a number that was 70 square feet higher than mine. I had another installer give me a quote and his measurement matched mine almost exactly. If their installer was this careless doing a measurement, what type of job would he do? I went with the second installer. DEBSAM has a strict no refund policy. If I had not done my own measurement, I would have paid for an additional 4 cases of flooring plus extra install costs, since they charge by the sq.Ft. That would have been hundreds of dollars more. 2. The flooring arrived 3 weeks before the project was scheduled to start. When I went to pick it up, I Was told by Valleri that a threshold was missing, but it would be in soon. On the Monday morning of the install, I emailed Valleri to find out about the threshold. I let the installer know we were missing the threshold and he suggested we could use one of the other transition pieces. He showed me what it would look like, I liked it and went with his suggestion. Valleri finally got back to me at the end of the day on Tuesday, after the install was completed by-the-way, and told me the vendor had been waiting for "Clarification" and had not sent the piece. I told her the job was now completed and I no longer needed it and asked for a refund. From her response, it seems either the vendor or Valleri made an error which resulted in me not recieving the piece on time. Since an error was made, I asked for an exception to their no refund policy. Valleri's response, "Sorry. Too late." As of the writing of this review, which is 4 days past the completion of the project, I still do not have the piece they are insisting I pay for. The piece cost $45.00 plus shipping.and the total sale was about $4,200.00. Now that $45.00 is not going to break me, but it felt like a total lack of respect and caring about their customer. You do better price wise at a big box store or online, but I paid a little more because I thought a small business like theirs would go the extra mile for their customer if something came up. That is just about the only thing a small business has gong for it over the cheaer discount stores. I was wrong. You may not get personalized service at the big box stores, but the chain stores and online vendors all allow you to return unopened boxes and unused finishing pieces. The flooring for this project cost 4,200.00. I purchased flooring twice before from them. One project cost 1,800.00 and the other was around 3,000.00. I remember the days when being a loyal repeat customer meant something
