They are not liable for damages to your home, including wiring and plumbing. They use subcontractors. Our installer was awful and that's why we rejected the install and canceled the contract. He showed up 3 hours later than what he personally told us, he had old carpet and padding stacked on top of our new carpet (no protective barrier) and one of the carpets was incorrect. You have (3) days to electronically cancel your contract and a different date to mail your certified letter to cancel. We weren't willing to take the gamble after the first installer experience and so glad we read the cancelation policy. Good luck!

The said they could do it, and we agreed on a fee for leveling the floor. Great. But then they didn't level the floor. The installer said it wasn't necessary when I came home and he was 3/4 done with the floor. When I complained about the final result, they didn't offer to take up the flooring and level it to make it right. They did remove the charge for leveling the floor but otherwise charged us full price for the install. 6 years later and our floor has been awful ever since Day 1 and I still hate how bouncy it is in many spots and its now starting to pull apart. I already need to pay for a new floor when should have lasted 15 years or more. I will say everyone we spoke with was kind and never rude, even if they didn't offer to make it right.

The other company showed up on time, National showed up over an hour after their allotted window. I had made a deal with the other company and told National as much, but received multiple follow-up calls asking to come back out and take a look (despite being given a firm no). At the end of a trip this weekend, I turned on my phone to find 8 missed calls from similar Boston-area numbers- no voicemails. One happened to come in while I was looking at my phone... National. Hopefully will have no further calls after a very firm reminder I went with another company, and that the job was done. Even if I had broken my word and gone with National for the 15% off, this definitively proves it would not have been worth it.
