Where do I start? I had a very serious, traumatic car accident a couple of weeks ago. The car was…read morenot drivable, so it needed to be towed to yard. JYD Towing showed up right away and towed it to their yard. I came a few days later to pick up my plates and my belongings out of the car. I signed my vehicle over to State Farm insurance company. To say the least, State Farm has made this whole situation more of a disaster than it already was to begin with. They were continuously back-and-forth with Ray (JYD business owner) and myself, and just not getting the car picked up and towed to their lot to be assessed and valued. The car is more than likely totaled. But through this whole awful experience, because of State Farm, Ray was beyond kind, compassionate, and helpful. I cannot thank him more. He was/is a godsend! Most people look at Tow Truck drivers and automatically hate them because the nature of their work. It's a tough business to be in, I'm sure, but he does it with grace and empathy. If anyone is ever in a situation where they need a tow truck, there is no doubt in my mind and I urge anybody and everybody to call JYD Towing. I took my car to a dealer who said my car wasn't actually painted but cheap plaster was used by Macarthur now the only way to fix is replace the whole bumper and have it actually painted. Also my car has been making a rattling noise from same front bumper area. i had previously took it back to MacArthur to assess this issue to which they claim the didn't hear anything of course but now the problem ensues. I never received an itemized bill of work being done or explained what work was done to my car. I wrote this review for people to be aware not come here for any type of repairs, you don't know what these people are doing to your car. Although things may appear decent on the outside you will have issues down the road.
