Be aware of this place and probably multiple precincts (in my case, it's the 9th precinct.) The 9th precinct towed my vehicle, then sent it to this place after saying that it'd be in storage and it'd be free to get when I receive my paperwork. Now it's in this chop shop. They said my vehicle was there for 2 months, and they tried to charge me $2600! They weren't even sure if my vehicle was there, and I said "what would you do with it if I don't pay for it) and they said they'd send it to eric basin, which is what the NYPD is originally supposed to do. So this place, and probably many precincts are in on some scam of taking peoples vehicles, and I'm going to report this to every agency there possibly is. WORST SERVICE EVER. No scratch that. No service. They never came. We were broken down in Manhattan, and called AAA. They found these guys and they said they'd be there an hour and a half. In an hour and a half, they called AAA saying that they completed the job. Then they called us and said they were just leaving Queens. Said it would be 40 minutes. We called an hour later. Said 20 minutes. Call again, said they were "on the bridge" and it would be 20 minutes. AAA calls them, and they hang up on them. AAA cancels the call and sends us another tow truck. It seems everyone is having the same complaints here. Be careful if you request their service. My company roadside assistance recommended us to this towing company and it was the worse mistake ever. I was given an ETA of 7:38pm from when i requested service at 5:45pm. I was told I would receive a "courtesy call" when the driver is on route to me but never got a call so I got anxious and called back to check in on the status. The lady on the phone sounded like she was too busy to be bothered and put me on hold for 20minutes. I called the company that requested the tow for me to check on the eta and they were somehow able to get a hold of a support staff who told them 10-15minutes after 7:38. So I waited until 8:15pm and surely no tow truck came by. It just so happens that the tow truck driver called me to ask me for my address again for the 3rd time. He said he just finished his other job and is just starting to be on his way and will take 30 minutes so I have to wait again until 9pm. I was given all the wrong information and they sadly couldnt even take down my address. They choose to lie to you instead. THE WORST. Would give a zero if I could. They were assigned to us through Ford Roadside. They called, said they would come in 90 minutes. Fine. They called an hour into that 90 minute window and said they were on their way. Waited and waited. Never came. Kept calling, they kept saying, he is on his way. Now it was 2 hours. They said he will be there within 30 minutes. Every excuse in the book- short staffed, the driver had a problem, every time I called I got a different excuse, and a "he is on his way". I asked to speak to the manager, he wouldn't get on the phone. After having to call literally every 8-10 minutes he finally got on the phone. Still excuse after excuse. WE WERE STRANDED FOR 4.5 HOURS. AND THEY NEVER CAME. We ended up with a different company. Awful. Who treats people like this? read more

Absolute worst customer service. I needed my Vespa towed from Greenpoint to Vespa Brooklyn and Progressive hired these dummies to do it. They gave me an eta of 90 minutes and ten minutes after that ended, they called me and said it was going to be another thirty minutes because one of their trucks was in the shop and the other one was on it's way back from the Bronx, Vespa Broolyn closes at 6:30 so I was pretty boned and when I told the lady on the phone that, she goes, "let me see what I can do and I'll call you right back." Twenty minutes later Progressive calls and says that this company called them and cancelled the service that I've already been waiting on for over two hours. Honestly, you have *one* job. You literally just have to understand traffic patterns and you don't even have to be that great at it because Google will do 95% of that work for you. If you don't understand how traffic works, you probably just shouldn't work there. This entire company can go straight to hell. read more

I got a phone call 5 min before they were suppose to be here and told be the truck broke down. That had a domino affect. That meant I couldn't get my car to the dealer in time before they closed. As I'm writing this review, I'm still waiting for the tow truck to appear. Requested a tow thru Allstate Roadside at 7:30am and unfortunately these guys were dispatched. The ETA was supposed to be 9:30am and it's not 11:30am and they still haven't showed up. Called the office and they said they "extended the ETA"...how do you extend an ETA and not inform anyone? Idiots. What's worse is that I arranged with my mechanic to have the car by him early so he can work on it and I'll have my car to use over the weekend, so much for that. read more

I truly wish they could get less of a rating, but that option is not available. I got stuck on the highway with 2 flat tires. The person at the call center gave an eta, after waiting an additional half hour I called to check the status I was told that the tow truck was stuck in traffic a few exits away and it would be an additional 30-45 minutes. I advised that I could see the traffic but I waited and then called back within 45 minutes. I was again told that the driver was 10 minutes away. I was truly stranded by this company. What makes this worse is that they had the never to call me back after 3 hours after their ETA to see if I "still needed a tow truck". What company does that? Had a motorcycle tow today. I was assigned Quality Auto Towing by my roadside assist company who paid them directly 100%. My Roadside assist is thru American Motorcycle Association. The driver showed up, more or less, within the time range I was given. Driver as super polite and took great care to make sure my bike was protected while strapped down. The driver even asked for my approval and input as to how he intended to and how I wanted to strap down the bike. Additionally, the driver actually drove quite slowly ( never exceeded 25mph) to the dealer that was 10 miles away to make sure that the motorcycle was Not jarred or rocking on the flatbed while going over potholes and speed bumps. Very satisfied. ZERO issues, & my bike arrived in perfect condition, I followed the driver the entire 10 miles to the Harley dealer. I would use them again for a motorcycle tow. read more

An hour later they call me back and the tow driver says he refuses to come it's too far he's cancelling. Fine. I say that's fine I'll call back Acura and have them find a different company.
