Mack is absolutely wonderful. We had a previous "contractor" put in a whole new broiler system back in February and unfortunately he installed everything wrong, backwards, and shoddily to the point that it was shooting out water, oil and flames all at the same time. The "contractor" never returned to fix it or finish our home stealing $48,000, so I called Mack to help. Mack spent extra time out of his night to discuss fixing the system and also went over the ways I could have the previous contractor prosecuted. He even referred other professionals to the house to give us prices to fix the mess the previous guy left. He spent two days repairing our heating disaster, replacing pipes, cleaning spilled oil, checking each and every radiator, and even pulled an extra wire to run the Nest I bought all for a very reasonable and fair price. My broiler is running amazingly and it is thanks to Mack for repairing a big piece of our disaster. On top of all this he went back the next day to check and make sure nothing was leaking. First off, Mack Antonoff responded to an emergency at my home in the Poconos during the polar vortex January this year right after we moved here. He first gave my wife and I some troubleshooting tips over the phone to save a few bucks before even agreeing to come out. After all else failed, here and his wife showed up less than two hours after our first call. He replaced the motor in my air handler, and fixed my heat pump out back, all while working in about 12 degrees below zero. My wife and I were so impressed with that visit and repair, we sent their family a thank you basket full of cherries . I just recently asked him to replace my heat pump out back, which was at least 12 years old, and he had it done in less than three hours working alone. Bottom line, he provides permanent solutions to your heating and air conditioning problems, at the best rate available. If you look for the cheapest possible option to fix your problem, you're going to get very cheap results. When Mack Antonoff fixes things, they stay fixed. Greeting's, I don't usually write reviews but in this case, the great work that Mack did is deserving of a review. I had the opportunity to oversee a heating and HVAC job Mack was doing for a friend of mine who was out of town. It was a huge 15 unit A/C job on a rooftop at a nearby hotel. After contacting numerous other contractors in the area whose prices were outrageous, we decided to go with Mack. Not only for his fair prices but for the knowledge he had and the simple way he explained things. Mack was up front about everything and in the end their were no hidden cost's that most contractors add on. Mack worked in a timely fashion and was able to get our A/C'S running and keep our guests at the hotel happy. Our WiFi thermostat was indicating our heat was not working as we were planning to head to the Poconos from NY for Thanksgiving. My mom had planned a dinner for 22 people and was frantic we would arrive to busted frozen flooded mess!. We contacted Mack and he assured us a "happy comfortable turkey day". Boy did he deliver. 1) he answered the phone 2) he was confident and available 3) he arrived on time 4)he resolved our heating issue with in 15 minutes (power venter jammed up) 5) rechecked the entire heating system and advised of future necessary repairs. **6) his emergency rate was reasonable considering the holiday and hour (5am Thursday) I cannot say enough about Mack and Peter but if you are looking for a local, honest professional for life we highly highly recommend Mack. I have an in floor radiant propane furnace that is over 50 years old. I was concerned about safety and efficiency. When I called Mack Antonoff HVAC, Mack picked up right away. I shared my concerns and Mack put all my concerns to ease over the phone. Most companies would want me to schedule an appointment and would likely have recommended replacement with duct work etc. I learned from Mack that my unit is very efficient and easy to maintain. He added that the addition of a digital thermostat would provide better control (no need for fancy programable thermostat). I ordered a Heat Only digital non-programable thermostat from Amazon and everything is Great! My dial thermostat was over 5 degrees off. I couldn't ask for a more courteous and experienced heating technician. I was at witts end trying to find someone to fix our heater that didn't want an arm and leg. I finally heard about Mack and had him come out to evaluate the problem I was having with no heat in my home. When he first arrived, he made me feel as if I known him for years. Mack showed up on the hottest day of the summer when I couldn't get anyone else to even respond and when I did they were charging outrageous fees just to show up mack wasn't on time when he said he would be there he was 15 min early and although he was extremely busy he was very professional My ac system wasn't working and he went and explained exactly what happened and how to avoid the problem in the future I was amazed he had every part I needed with him he was able to get it up and running in what felt like no time at all and charged a very fair reasonable rate I will always use his service in the future if u want a great technician and a fair price I recommend calling him he is my new heat and air guy for life read more

We had an issue with our boiler and I called a ton of places and no one reached back out. Mack returned my call (while on vacation) and was beyond helpful. He even tried to help me over the phone first with the issue. We had Mack come out to our home and he told us the issue and suggested what we could do to avoid issues in the future. This guy will jump on the chance to show up to your house and give you a quote just so he can charge you nearly 150 bucks for less than 10 minutes of analysis. After that, he blew me off with every excuse in the book. He always tells me he'll get back to me as soon as the crisis-of-the-day is over, but he never does. Part of the 150 should have gone towards a part I needed, but after at LEAST 5 different No Shows, he figured I'd move on so he could pocket the money for the part. There's a reason he's not on Home Advisor. This guy is a cheat and maybe a drunk. Don't trust this scammer, he's bad business. I'm following up with the BBB as well. read more

I contacted Mack late afternoon, regarding my high efficiency boiler which was not working properly. I explained to him what was going on and he was very knowledgeable on working with this type of system. He had the proper tool to get the job done. He came over on short notice the next morning and spend several hours on tuning the boiler. He spend extra time to get the job done right, even though he had another job scheduled for the afternoon. Christmas weekend began in terror and chaos with our oil boiler and frozen pipes.
