(Crown work) according to their "dental treatment plan" they said I owed an additional amount. I found it odd because I had paid everything already out of pocket. Fast forward, recently my new dentist was out on maternity leave. I was at a time crunch. Therefore, i returned to Denton Smiles and saw Dr. Tran again. They supplied me with a complete and detailed "treatment plan" including x-rays. Again it was several thousand dollars. I'm a senior citizen living on a small fixed retirement pension, but am serious and responsible about paying my debts even if I use credit cards. Again this time I paid punctually 2 large payments over a few thousand. Again, after a month of having paid my bill (treatment plan") and dental work was completed, mysteriously i was billed an additional $200. dollars. Now every week i receive a harassing text of owing $200. I have called, I politely emailed and texted. But no answer or response. I requested a meeting with their accounts manager to show them a copy of their treatment plan and the payments I made that paid it in full. No response not even out of courtesy! Total I paid this practice $10,000 ! All to Denton Smiles. Their behavior can put responsible paying patients with good credit into a debt collection agency that ruins their credit! CAUTION: This facility does not keep their word nor respects their own treatment plans and bills they provide to patients. Even when you pay in full out of pocket and clarify insurance doesn't cover it (which they already know) they'll look for a reason to bill you a month or two AFTER you've already paid your bill in full. These are deceptive practices squeezing additional money out of responsible patients and worse ruining one's good credit. Months later, I am still waiting for the appointment to settle the matter.

Best Dentist Appointment I've ever had!…read more All of the staff were wonderful! From the doctor to the receptionist! All wonderful people! The office was nice and super clean with medical grade air purifiers. My dental hygienist (Kristy) was so sweet and it was the first time my mouth wasn't sore after a cleaning. I've already called my family for them to book their next appointments. The office had pictures of the Loretto Chapel and the stairs that were built. It was a cute detail!

They are all so sweet and welcoming. Dr. Mackey is well experienced and is great at explaining things. For nearly all of my visits. I have had Lindsey clean my teeth who was super sweet and gentle. My last visit I had Amanda who was welcoming and super thorough! It was slightly uncomfortable, but i appreciate her thoroughness. For cleaning flavors. I recommend the birthday cake! During the visit, there's a small waiting room with a tv and keurig. In the cleaning rooms, there's a tv on the wall and ceiling to make time go by. At the end, you get a goody bag with a new toothbrush, floss, and toothpaste.

I was very nervous about the entire process, but especially since I haven't been in so long. I worried I would be made to feel terrible about neglecting my teeth. Instead, everyone was extremely nice to me. No one made me feel bad about how long it's been and everyone went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable and knew what was going on. It wasn't the traumatic experience I had as a kid at all. I had to get a deep cleaning done over two appointments and my hygienist and her assistant were top notch. Again, didn't make me feel embarrassed about the state of my teeth or how long it has been. I didn't have any cavities and everything went really well! I got to speak to or otherwise interact with 3 of the dentists there and really liked 2 of them. I didn't dislike the 3rd, he just felt a little less experienced. Pricing was good here as well.

Also, the check in process is a thorn in my side. Clients get handed a tablet to verify info. It's very time consuming and not necessary if all my info hasn't changed (insurance, home address, etc). I've said many times that my info is the same. One time I just flat out refused and the receptionist signed for me! I also asked "IF I get a crown today, and have an issue with it tomorrow & have to come back the next day, will I be handed the tablet again to verify my information?" (like I moved over night, lol). I recently had a dentist who told me I had 3 cavities, and Dr. Macbride looked at the x-rays/at each tooth and was hilarious-a stain doesn't make it a cavity; sometimes it's just a stain. Are you a coffee drinker? Her focus is not on money but on your teeth/health. If you complain of tooth discomfort, she will look for the source of the discomfort, instead of focusing on the money that can be gained from a crown/filling/root canal.
