10/10 If it's broke,…read moreBruce can fix it. Period. I was attempting to go to Georgia to pick up some stuff over the weekend but had issues with both my vehicle and my 8x12 utility trailer. The truck was dealing with a persistent overheating problem and a belt squeal no one else could seem to solve. The trailer had an electrical short in the lights and a bad axle hub that made it unsafe to tow. Bruce with Premier Mobile Mechanic came out, found every issue fast, explained everything clearly, and had both back in working order before most shops would've even returned a call. After talking to him for awhile, I'm convinced this man can fix just about anything. From diesel and gas engines to wiring, welding, hydraulics, and heavy equipment. Premier Mobile Mechanic is the kind of business that feels rare these days; honest, reliable, and run by someone who genuinely knows what they're doing. Bruce Barker is one of those rare people who can fix just about anything, and he shows up ready to get the job done right. From heavy equipment and diesel trucks to small engines and AC repairs, he handles it all with skill and straight-shooter professionalism. What stood out most? He's fair. He doesn't try to upsell or talk in circles about the problem, just gives you the truth, a good price, and gets to work. He's the kind of mechanic who cares more about the job getting done right than rushing through it. You can tell he takes pride in his work. If you're anywhere near Blount or Jefferson County and you need a repair, save yourself the time and stress and just call Bruce. You'll be glad you did. I'm grateful to have found a dependable mechanic when I really needed to!

Bruce is a VERY good person and I will recommend him to anyone. Had trouble with my zero turn mower…read moreand I was very afraid it was the hydraulic motor for the right hand steering. Bruce checked it out and showed me exactly what was wrong with it. He ordered the parts and showed me the prices of the parts and the website he got them from. I couldn't have asked for him to be more honest than he was. I will be telling anyone I know that needs mower repair about him. (There wasn't any problems with the hydraulic system)!!! Thanks for helping me out like you did!!!

Website forced me to give a rating - so I did give a One star, but contractor didn't deserve a one…read morestar. Re: Wire railing project Would not recommend this contractor based on the following; * Did not have skillset to complete project while assuring us he did, indeed felt we were misled as to his abilities to the point of we felt being were conned. He arrived with only himself and no helper which only led to the inability to properly install the railing. o Contractor did not follow the simple installation instructions provided with the railing and/or deliberately failed to install all of the parts either by blatant incompetence extremely poor work ethic. o Contractor insisted (after job was done) that owner made changes. Owner did not make changes, contractor left very late in the day (early evening), and insisted if I discovered any issues, he would be happy to return in a timely manner and make corrections. o Posts were not installed plumb (instructions specified shimming as required) which led to crooked railing and loose cabling. o Provided grommets not installed at all. o Claimed to have the ability to weld but upon demonstration his abilities were extremely poor o Upon further review by two other more reputable contactors, it was recommended that railing could not be fixed and should be completely torn out and replaced at great additional expense. One contractor said; "who did this - we want to ensure we never him again."
