The other neighbor was looking for a certain type of gun and was told they are getting some in and they would call him when they come in it's been a few months and he still has not gotten a call and the gun he was interested in I asked about that type when I was there a few weeks ago and they said they sold out.... They have very little amount of ammunition you never get a call back from anyone about anything. Poor customer service. I once entered the store, saw no one by the register as I came in, browsed firearms section, ammunition, disc golf, team sports, shoes, and exercise equipment areas (all along the outside perimeter of the store giving access to center of the store) and took about an hour doing so. I DID NOT SEE AN EMPLOYEE AT ALL!! As I left, still no one by the register. The prices are usually higher than most places, the selection is usually thin and not varied, customer service is a big fat ZERO. I did go the other day to look at some 1911's and only took me 30 minutes standing in that area to finally get someone to notice me. Before that trip, I went to buy ammo and after waiting 35 minutes and looking at guns through the glass, I finally called the store and said I was in guns and needed help. Only took another 10 minutes to get someone to me. Yes, I waited. I despise Wally World and will not give my money to them unless I absolutely HAVE TO. I thought it was just this Dunham's in Roanoke Rapids. But I've had similar "experiences" in the Rocky Mount, NC store. Atrocious business model if this is how they run the stores. No wonder the employee turnover rate here is so high for them. I will be returning later to update my review. But I have little hope for them to score better.

Frisco Rod & Gun is a sports shop dedicated to the sports of hunting and fishing, and as such, they do a really great job of it. There are also sorts of varying rifles and shotguns plus ammunition along with a knowledgeable, helpful staff. So, if you need a gun to go hunting or any hunting equipment or advice, this is a great place for it. It also have everything you might need when it comes to fishing, fishing equipment and apparel. They are also an official weigh station and are associated with the Cape Hatteras Anglers Club with regards a weigh in for tournament events.
