If you're heading over to New Port Richey to sip an afternoon tea at The White Heron Tea & Gifts…read more(which I highly recommend you do!), don't forget to head upstairs to the Pink Brick Boutique afterwards for the most adorable shopping experience ever! You'll miss it if you aren't looking for it, as the shop is upstairs and the street-level access is a door (right next to The White Heron Tea room) that immediately opens into a staircase. This hidden gem in the heart of Downtown New Port Richey has room after room of treasures, from fairy themed gifts to cute accessories and boutique clothing to Disney inspired everything. Everywhere I turned, I found something more adorable and interesting than the last, and every item in the boutique was so unique and whimsical. I fell in love with their felt bird feeders shaped like a carriage and the spinning organizers filled with whimsical earrings to match every niche interest you could have. And the prices aren't bad at all. Many earrings I saw were between $15-20 and they had great sales on their boutique clothing. I'm headed straight there the next time I need a gift for my friends (or myself).

I will never spend my money in this place again. The owner isn't even a licensed jeweler. I…read morepurchased a stone and setting from here and waited to have it set "the right way". When my ring came in I was in a rush to so I didn't inspect it as I should have. As I looked closely...my prongs didn't even touch the stone on 2 sides. I went to 2 different jewelers and they both told me that I had been taken advantage of. I was over charged for the stone, and the ring was in bad shape. The stone was appraised at no more than $75 and I paid just over $350. The prongs would not hold my ring properly if they were re-set. When I asked him to order a new setting, he said my ring was a custom piece. I ordered the setting online and he had the stone in house...I don't see how that is a custom piece. He offered to re-set the ring at no additional charge to me and was confused as to how I could say that my stone could fall out. His response was..."I don't hear it moving" as he shook it near his ear. If my ring was damaged the first time...why would I trust you with it again. He refused to give me a refund and told me the only option I had was to purchase a new setting or allow him to re-set it. I was in complete shock at how easily the owner could disregard my concern once he had his money. I will now have to deal with a stone that is not worth a dime, along with having to buy a new setting from a reputable store. I will never recommend this store to anyone.

Not to mention they not only take your money but keep their merchandise if there's a physical problem with their piece of jewelry. My wedding ring was stolen from my home in March. I'm married 27 years to the same wonderful man. It was a custom piece. Not too many places in my area wanted to touch remaking it. My husband and I walked into Royalty Jewelers Inc. (yeah some name) and Bill the older man held my hand and "promised" me he could replicate the ring from the appraisal and photo I had. When I picked it up there was a gap where there shouldn't have been. They filled it in. I picked it up on June 17, 2014. My finger wasn't feeling right and I wasn't happy with that. Instead of going back, because they did not seem happy about the gap in the ring, I went to a big jeweler in Clearwater on Friday, June 27, 2014. Both the manager and the craftsman looked at the ring and stated that this was not a well made ring. First one of the six prongs that hold the main diamond (86 points) was broken. Then the reason why my finger was hurting was because underneath the top of the ring was not polished and there were some rough edges. I immediately called my credit card company and explained what happened. They advised me to return to the merchant and tell them. We did, me and my 14 year old son. Big mistake. I explained to Bill that a prong was broke, he took the ring and got very upset. When I tried to explain about the roughness underneath the ring he was livid. Him, his son Nick, who I think runs this dump, the daughter Elena and the mother Eleni started to yell at me and my son and threw us out of the store and kept the ring. I filed an official complaint through my credit card company. Everything looked great. Explained on paper just what happened. In July, I was denied. I called and spoke to Nick on the phone and asked if I can come and get my ring. He said yes once everything is processed with the cc company. Then MY credit card company called me and said they are taking a second look at this complaint. They told me if I can provide a SECOND OPINION that would be favorable for my case. I went back to the Jeweler in Clearwater and they provided me with a second opinion on the ring which I submitted to my credit card company. I just found out on December 23, arbitration ruled in their favor. So I went to the store with my family to get the ring and they told us that they don't have the ring that I HAVE IT!!. They would not let us in the store so I'm talking through the glass. I called the police. They said did you get a claim ticket originally. I explained that when we went back on June 27 about the broken prong and the roughness, they just took the ring and threw us out so I did not have a claim ticket. So now I'm out $4000 for the cost of the ring which is on my credit card and $4000 because they lied about having the ring. In my entire life, there has been problems but I have never dealt with people that are thieves and can live with themselves knowing that I don't have the ring, it's Christmas time a Holy time and if this is the way they do business, STAY AWAY. The couple times I was in Royalty Jewelers Inc., Bill the elder man only talked about his other jewelry store in Odessa that burned down and he had NO INSURANCE and what a BIG LOSS he took on that happening.
