The woman behind the counter was incredibly friendly and happily offered us several samples, giving us plenty of time to find our favorites without feeling rushed. We ordered a regular cup with two flavors: the biscotti gelato and the vanilla with toffee. Both were absolutely delicious. The biscotti had wonderful flavor and texture, while the vanilla with toffee was rich, creamy, and had just the right amount of sweetness. The customer service was warm and welcoming, and the quality of the gelato was excellent. If you're in Park City and looking for a quick treat, Mack's Finest Gelato Works is definitely worth a visit. Friendly and patient staff member helping us with our first experience here. We sampled and loved everything we tasted ended up with one chocolate and banana horchata, and one with salted caramel and cookie butter. Just wow. If you're looking for gelato in Park City, this is it. Even though it's not right in Old Town, it's super close and just off the main road. Absolutely worth the quick detour. Hands down the best dessert option in Park City. It honestly makes other ice cream spots pale in comparison. They let you sample as many flavors as you want, which is dangerous in the best way because they have so many unique options. The girl working when we went was so kind and patient, even though we came in close to closing time. The space itself is so clean, modern, plenty of seating, and they even have a little selection of pints to go. I ordered a cup with pistachio, stracciatella, and sweet cream, and every single one was incredible. They all complemented each other perfectly. They had lots of vegan sorbet options also. Now with his store front in Prospector, Mack's Finest is easily attainable if you're willing to wait in line. We have now been to Mack's over ten times and each flavor is amazing; I've had many! My one complaint is because Mack makes them all fresh, sometimes they're out of a flavor I'd love to revisit. We made the mistake the night before going to a "highly rated" ice cream place in downtown, if you're looking at that place don't do it! Mack's lets you sample as many flavors as you'd like which is awesome given the many unique flavors they have. The folks working were very nice and helpful, much more friendly and attentive than the place in downtown so 10/10 for service. The ambiance here was also a 10/10, ample room very clean and modern and they even have free water! Hardly ever see free water at an ice cream/gelato place. I got a large with pistachio, ski bum and biscoff cookie and they were all fantastic and all paired well together if you like to try and make your flavors work together. Wow what a gem! Unfortunately we ate our delicious gelato before snapping a picture. Mack is the nicest guy, a fellow Northern California native, and he appreciates the same high quality food products that we became accustomed too in our life by the bay. He provided outstanding service and let us try almost every flavor. He would have let us sample all of them, he encourages it, but I was sold on the pistachio and maple pecan. He was very pleasant and passionate about his craft. The Gelateria has a great vibe and has been decorated well, while staying crisp and clean.
