Initially, I was pleased with the job he did. Little did I know the personal Hell this transaction would become over the next 18 months. Not only has this man and his team proven themselves to be unable to do the job correctly, but they have also demonstrated through their actions to be dishonest, unethical, unprofessional, and very cruel. The problems with the stereo and alarm systems started almost immediately. The stereo would skip, and different screens would pop up when I would turn the car on, and sometimes the screen would be blank, so I would have to restart the car to get to the stereo. The alarm would sometimes churp different tones, which Peter indicated was a sensor issue, and the starter button would set off my alarm a lot of the time. Fast forward 2024. The alarm stopped working all together so Peter agreed to replace it. ** The second alarm is now malfunctioning ** So many long visits to AudioMasters, I was patient and respectful with this man. The last week in September, 2024, my stereo wireless stopped working, the volume went up and down by itself, screen flashed on and off. The next day, I called Peter. No answering machine, and He would not respond to my texts, I verified he received them. He just chose not call me back. Then the stereo stopped working all together. No CarPlay, no music. After a week of being ignored, I was able to speak with Peter. Peter acknowledged the problem, offered to replace the defective stereo. Another week passed. October 4, I got this text from Peter: "Morning Marcus, Just left the warehouse with the new radio and headed back to charlotte. Ill text you when I'm on the way to you." That was the last time I heard from Peter, or AudioMasters. I spoke with an employee, he put me on hold for 30 minutes. I called back, they have call waiting, they would not pick up. I had someone else call from another number, and they picked up.

Had a tint job done on my new truck. Tint job was done fast and initially front small window wasn't cut right so had it redone. After sitting for couple days - the tint has bubbling on several windows. I notice front is lighter than back windows with 15% all around - not entirely sure what the issue is with that if its the glass on truck or different film was used. You guys are about an hour away - I know I could come back to get it re-done but I'd rather get a local guy to do it instead - it's a shame. I'd consider changing my review if you can make it right.

I noticed the cruise control as I was driving back to Iowa... The subs started smoking shortly after arrival. For them to look at it is no easy feat, about 1000 miles backwards. Instead of shipping new subs as we previously discussed, he now insists I drive 2000 miles(roundtrip) or pay for shipping. I'd rather forfeit the money I paid them, and continue on with life. Once I returned, the staff assisted with explaining tint percentages and measuring how much tint my car currently had. I opted for 15% all around and 45% on my windshield. The total was almost $600 for all the tint included. While it's definitely an investment, I've been very happy with the quality and the look of the tint on my vehicle now.

They weren't able to fix the situation and they advised me to take the truck to a dealership or to an electrical mechanic. So I went to Victory Chevrolet in Mt. Holly and the service advisor told me that I shouldn't waste any money in the vehicle because it was old and smelled liked mold, mildew and had the worst water damage he's ever seen. Needless to say I was disheartened and didn't know what to do so I looked up mechanics in the Belmont and Mount Holly area. This is where I came across R&M Auto Center, their reviews were almost perfect so I called them up and the front desk was very helpful, professional and pleasant. She set up an appointment for me relatively soon. When I arrived, I spoke with Cameron and explained the situation in detail with the brake lights, the driver's window not going down and locks not working. He assured me that it would be taken care of. He also reiterated that the diagnostics fee was $103 and if they didn't resolve the issue in the first 45 or hour then there would be an additional charge for each additional hour. I left my vehicle overnight and when they call me back the next day, to let me know what the issue was, I was worried but Leslie explained that they found the issue and it was a simple fix for the brake lights. I was extremely happy about the price because I was thinking the worst. They finished my vehicle and did my inspection as well in a timely manner. When I picked up my vehicle I was surprised that the driver's window worked and the locks on the truck worked as well and yes the brake lights were fixed. They took care of everything and didn't try to exploit the situation. Overall, I would definitely recommend R & M Auto Center for your vehicle's repairs because they are truly honest, upfront and do great work on your vehicle for a very fair price.
