I have people who don't even like turkey love my turkey. I have purchased from Bob's Butcher block. In looking at the reviews, I have never seen anyone handle meat and money without putting on and taking off gloves. They are very conscious about that. As far as meat being tough, that is a chef problem, not a cut of beef problem. If you are having problems with tough meat, it is most likely due to not understanding how different cuts of meat need to be prepared. Some need to be slow roasted, some need to be seared and left medium to medium rare. The staff are knowledgeable on how to cook the meat. There are also 1 million videos out there on YouTube on how to cook/slow cook/fry/roast/grill your meat.

Mac's is stellar representative of family ran small business. We go several times a week to shop and visit with the staff that have become our friends over the last couple years. The meat is excellence, the huge donuts and cookies from the bakery are delicious. If that's not enough try the asparagus bratwurst they are one of a kind and amazing. I'd also recommend the potato kegs which are tater tots on steroids. Don't forget to grab some of the beef jerky for the ride home!!!! read more
