We ended up not travelling as much as desired, no thanks to lockdowns, but have recently started again. We have been pleased with Compass Groups handling of our travel plans thus far and have only had a positive experience. The planning burden is completely handled by them and the cost savings has been impressive. From the trips we decided to plan ourselves, they saved up $300-450. That adds up real quick when you travel often. Their staff is nice and a pleasure to speak with. They listen well and provide multiple options. Our recent trip to Niagara Falls was a ton of fun and we pretty much just gave them dates and a couple locations we wanted to see. They figured it out for us and even suggested some sights worth seeing along our way. We've been very satisfied with they're service and since we have a lifetime membership, we won't be hesitating to take advantage of their service in the future.

Don was very responsive and walked us through all of our questions regarding payment, excursions, insurance and more. He even recommended the class of stateroom and we could not have been happier! Our room was huge, and we had a 60 foot balcony on the back (aft) of the boat. We would drink coffee in the morning and wine in the evening overlooking the beautiful Caribbean water. This was to be our holiday of a lifetime. We had been recommended by a friend to Cruise Planners DePasquale Travel but from their name, we thought that they only did cruises. We decided to call anyway as part of our European trip to Europe included a river cruise and then a cruise in the Mediterranean from Italy. Well, it seems they do everything from flights, hotels and pretty much all we wanted. We had an idea of where we wanted to go but had no idea how to put it all together. This is where Don, the owner of the travel agency took over. Gee, that man is on the ball. He was incredibly knowledgeable and professional and despite the changes we made was always smiling and available for us. He also has some great insights and connections and made some recommendations we hadn't thought about and put together some packages where we saved quite a lot of money. I guess you just got to know how to navigate around this kind of thing and Don certainly knows how to do that. I…read morefinally found a cruise that sounded good, though it wasn't my first choice, and was about to book it through Costco, when I figured I'd check with an agent just in case I could get a better deal. I'd heard that travel agents could be helpful with cruises, especially for first-timers, but I was skeptical, since I generally plan all of our trips very cheaply myself. I contacted Mike, and he got back to me within minutes and was able to quote me a price on the same exact cruise for $1200 less (for our family of five.) I was very pleasantly surprised. So I then asked him to check on another cruise that we'd given up on - one that was during my mom's spring break, and probably everybody else's. This cruise was just out of our price range, and so we were going to have to give up on the idea of taking my mom along. Then Mike came back with a price that was well below what we'd found elsewhere, and even well below what we were going to pay Costco for our second choice. To my delight (and my husband's,) we are now planning a spring cruise with the grandma/babysitter! He even found adjoining balcony rooms for us - an ideal setup, as this will give us one big suite and two bathrooms to share, with the added bonus of being able to shut the door if somebody snores too loudly (I won't say who.) Mike has been extremely responsive to every question, however silly, I've had about this trip. He gets back to me very quickly and answers all my questions in a very clear, organized manner. I feel so much better about going on my first cruise with all my questions answered by somebody who knows what he's talking about and never seems just to be trying to sell me something. We didn't know exactly when except September or October. Mike's response was, "THIS year?" He walked us through deciding on a date, and started work. I know this is a busy time for him; but within a few days, he had gotten us hotel reservations and air fare from both San Antonio and Sacramento. We requested either private or very small tours, although I wasn't sure such options exited. As with everything else, within a couple of days, he had a variety of tours that fit our criteria. He was wonderful about trying to divide the prices of the tours so that each couple paid about half. So... it's now early July and we are set for the end of September! THANK YOU, Mike. This is a small private airport and if you need to land your private plane or chopper somewhere…read morethis is the place to go. While they only have fuel for small planes, you can also land your chopper there in the middle of the night as they have runway lights. I don't know the fees but I was told it's quite cheap. You pay a lot more in San Antonio. And I know that for a fact. So this is a nice place. Also if you decide to pick someone up there at night, Bulverde Police might show up and ask what you are doing but they are very nice if you ask me. I think they will be my next review.
