This store could have a lot of potential given it's location, but I don't if it's a management problem or a sign of the time but there is never anybody working here, you literally have go and find someone to help you. My wife and went there last to return some on line orders and the was clean for a change, but there were plenty of empty shelves and no one to be found. We witness people stealing in cosmetics, my old retail sprit told me to approach them but my overruled it. Many years ago I worked for Sanger Harris and I am just guessing all the merchandising rules have changed? I had to go to online shopping because of the lack of choices. I have tried for nearly two months to speak to someone at the Lancome counter and when I call I am mired in a voicemail quagmire and no one answers. Computer-generated VMs and any other options the suggest and again no response, no human to talk with and they suggest with computer animation, and when I call, I am mired in a voicemail quagmire, and no one answers. The Christmas gift I brought for my granddaughter needed to be exchange only, to a bigger size. Well my son took my granddaughter to exchange her beautiful coat and they did not have the size up she needed. They told my son he could only get a store credit, they could not give him money back he even had the receipt. My granddaughter today still has no coat now. High end merchandise worth the price. But shoe dept is a bit out of wack. Tennis shoes and Sperry boat shoes are on the shelves in the tennis shoe Dept but are handled by sales person on the other side of store in regular shoe Dept. So involves a lot of extra walking to try on or ask questions about shoes on shelves in tennis shoe Dept but not handled there. Suggest moving all shoes not tennis shoes out of the tennis shoe Dept. My wife was shopping with one of her Best Friends and they were waking through Macy's to go to their cars when this very tall and attractive lady from the Givenchy perfume counter walked up to my wife's friend and asked her to smell the perfume she had sprayed on the sample cards, her friend wanted to know more so they both walked to the counter and looked at what she was offering, her best friend decided she didn't want to buy the items at this time to expensive, as they walked off my wife asked her friend if she noticed that the sales lady never spoke or made eye contact with my wife and she replied to her that she wasn't of color, my wife's friend is of middle eastern descent. We are in America we all need to treat each other as equals if we are to stand Strong. For this action we give them a poor rating. You may wanna think twice before you buy from them. read more

Had to walk around both floors for 20 mins before someone would check me out. I kept encountering associates who just happen to have a closed register. I got so upset that i was gonna leave a 100 bill on the register and leave with the items I wanted but they all had that ink pack on them. I hope they can get things together. Shine a light on registers that are open, help your customer out. Also be consistent where you place the theft tag. This is the 2nd time at a Macy's the door beeped causing me to return to the non existent associate to remove my tag. (Last time the associate couldn't find it and I get home to have to get on you tube to figure how to remove the tag!) To top that off when I returned to get the tag removed from one of the several shirts I bought the "super associate" decided she needed to ensure that all the items in my bag was paid for, taking up additional time I didn't have. read more

I purchased some shoes here and was assisted by Naveed! He was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond, literally to find my size. The store was super busy and folks were everywhere. He was very patient, very professional and did not rush me at all. He even asked if he could run some shoes over to a customer. My mom purchased a purse and was assisted by Renee. I purchased a mattress from this Macy's location this past weekend. We love their Hotel Collection line and I was going to order online but decided I'd go to the store to make sure I ordered the right box spring and frame. The sales associate was extremely knowledge and super friendly. This was the best shopping experience I've had in a long time! This place will help you understand why people prefer to shop online. I've seen warehouses, more organized than the Macy's in Parks Arlington. The way the suits were wedged into the racks reminded me more of an outlet mall. This is not the same place they used to advertise during the holidays. Oh and they have more security than employees today! I tried on several jackets and was never asked if I needed and any help but the creepy presence of voyagers was certainly made know as I was leaving. While exiting the department, going down the escalator, I hear man say nice shoes...I turn around and it's a young man who worked their (ironically) wearing a suit. I replied thank you and then asked him where did he buy his suit? He said to me "oh this is Louis Vuttion I got it from here and had it custom made but trust me you don't want to get it from here" and walks off abruptly. This was my experience being in the Macy's department and it will be my last for a time to come. read more

We bought our new queen size mattress! Thank you Macy's! Mansoor was an excellent salesman. When we were looking at the mattresses he got up from his desk and came to us. We motioned to him that we wanted some time to look, so he gave us some space. He stayed within sight without staring. While my wife and I were looking we visited different beds, and found one that we liked. We called Mansoor over and he was friendly, courteous and understanding with what we were doing. I asked how long he was working there and he's as of december 2017 has been in this department for about 3 years. Well while talking to him about the mattress he told us about the double insurance guarantee where basically Sealy guarantees the mattress for 10 years with a one and Macy has their worry no more plan which guarantees the bed protector for 10 years(which is good, because of the bed ever has any stains, it voids the sealy warrantee). At the end, the percentage off the mattress was 10% off and we applied for a Macy's card. I asked Monsoor if there was any other way we can save money, and he told me of their grace period and if the price changes within a certain time period(I think he said 14 Days)... then he will adjust the price for us. Not only that, the bed and mattress covered, and delivered was free and the $25 fee to take away our mattress was a great relief. read more

The quality of the store is really really slipping. I took in a couple of returns from the delivery center as they were in just horrendous condition. One of them was clearly a previous return, and the other had spots all over it. Due to a broken foot it's taking me a little bit longer to get in and out of places and this time I'm grateful. I watched the serviceperson Lee literally put them on a hanger and back on display. What an absolutely atrocious behavior. Additionally as I was rolling through the department on Saturday September 26th I was listening to stuff with multiple complaints about the cleanliness the orderliness of the department. Additionally there were multiple stock issues. I am saddened by the decline in the store as this has been my go to Macys for years. They still have multiple sales all over the place so it's worth while walking through just the amount of clutter and negativity of staff really is a true downer. read more

Great clothes, rude staff. I asked to see a pair of shoes and the guy seemed like he didnt want to even go look. When he came back I was unsure of the shoes and he said" Look bud, I dont get paid on commission so I dont really care" and walked off. Clothes are on the floor at this location. This is horrible. An unsuspecting customer could buy items that laid on the floor. The manager blamed customers and could not give a damn. I said I'd call corporate and that didn't phase her at all. This store has low expectations of the quality of employees and service. This was demonstrated by responses I received. This is my favorite Macy's in all of DFW. The store is clean and very well organized and the staff is always so friendly. This store offers more variety than the other Macy's I've been to. I live in North Dallas and my choices are North Park and Galleria. While I enjoy the Macy's at those two malls, for some reason I can never find what I'm looking for. I hate to say it but it's for older business women and since I'm stay at home mommy I don't wear suits for my job. I could I guess... If you want the high end stuff you will find it here. I was in Macy's yesterday, August 31, at The Parks mall in Arlington Texas. There isn't a Macy's where I live since the Temple, TX store was closed, so I was excited to be able to shop there again. I needed bras and have a hard time finding the style and size I wear in stores. Not only did this store have them, they were on sale. The sign said $16.99. In small print below, it said 'regularly $39-42, 2 for $28". I was thrilled at that price and was able to find two in the right size and style. When I went to pay, they rang up as $16.99 each and the additional discount for buying 2 did not come up. I told the cashier who argued with me. I showed her the sign. She called two different managers. After I stood my ground that they needed to honor the posted price, the second manager told her to override the register and sell them to me for the posted 2 for $28. They all argued and rolled their eyes at me for not backing down and not one of them apologized for the misunderstanding. It is not good customer service to refuse to honor a posted price and be rude about it. I'm very disappointed in this shopping experience and wanted someone to know. read more

I have always liked Macy's because it's nostalgic. The customer service is really good in every department that I have visited thus far. They let you shop in complete peace and solitude, but if you need them, they will always gladly help you. Whether in store or online, they always have some really good deals going. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because on a few occasions the material of some of my tops were of a poor quality. I think they should go back to producing high quality blouses even if it means they have to go up a bit. Unlike the other posters, I have never seen the store in disarray, but then again customers need to learn how to pick up after themselves. That's a department store, not a maid service. Hey guy, be careful with the lady at athletic shoes. I return Nike shoes that I never wear. When I came, she didn't return right the way. She took the shoes inside and told me to wait. After 4 minutes, she came out and gave me dirty shoes in the bottom and told me that the shoes have been used and she couldn't able to clean. Man... I never wear that shoes but turn out I couldn't able to return... she lie and did something to the shoes and told me that I can only able to exchange it.... I have to exchange it with unsatisfied service... and I feel really bad and upset because I never wear that shoes. After she shows up, she couldn't find the under eye concealer even after getting help. Terrible slow service. Este Lauder counter was even worse because the lady was putting make-up on another Customer and told me I'd have to wait till she was finished. She knew all I needed was a tube of lip gloss. The other Customer had to tell her to go ahead and ring me up. Took all of one minute. Clarin's is gone so I had to go to Dillard's. I'll shop there instead of Macy's from now on. I have shopped here for years, going back to when it used to be Foley's. They always seem to have sales and coupons, yet, with only a few exceptions, I can't find anything worth spending my money on. The quality of goods is so disappointing : lots of polyester, acrylic, plastic. The atmosphere is just depressing too. There are few salespeople, and because of the frequent sales it is very crowded and messy. However, i will say that the employees are nice, if you can find one. Also the sales prices are deceiving. For example, men's Levis marked as "buy 1, get 1 50% off"; the original price was $68. Go next door to Dillard's and the same jeans are $45 regular price. Honestly, I don't think I will come here anymore. read more

Disappointed with Macys and the lack of professionalism and security of the store and the customer's personal belongings. Monday 1-16-17 between 7 and 730 pm cst I made a purchase in Jr's dept. I left my phone there. I was walking out at 730 and a clerk had already locked the doors going to the mall. Which the mall didn't close till 8pm, but the clerk stated that they have to close 'early' since mall is closing at 8. I hadn't ever heard of that policy. When I left I realized I left my phone. I couldn't return that night since they closed & locked the doors. I called my phone at the clerk answered stating I had left my phone there at the Jr's department register counter. She stated that she would be taking it upstairs to the Customer Service area. I went the next day to ask about my phone. As soon as I walked up to ask about my phone the woman named Monica at the counter stated no there was not a phone turned in. She did pick up a phone that was on the counter and asked if that was mine, and I said no. She said no there wasn't a phone turned in. She responded without out taking a look at the Lost and Found log or in the Lost and Found location. So I proceeded to tell her the situation that the clerk at the Jr's dept counter answered the phone call the previous night soon after I left and stated yes I left my phone there and she would be taking it upstairs to Customer Service. Then she did look at a Lost and Found Log. She called down to the Jr's dept to ask if my phone was there, and that clerk stated no. She said you can go down there and ask them or look again. I went downstairs to ask and also asked about them contacting the clerk that was on duty that night. She stated she didn't have that information but the office upstairs did and could tell me (why didnt the office upstairs already try that before sending me downstairs). So once again I went upstairs. I spoke to Monica again asking her to contact the clerk that worked that night, she quickly told me I wouldn't have a way of knowing who that was. (?) I asked her isnt there a manager you can ask or schedule you can check to see who was working Jr's that night. She said yes let me see if I can. So then another Macy's employee Rachel was helpful to look at the schedule, noticed who it was and tried calling her at home but couldn't reach her. I went there again the next day, and phone still not located. I asked if they can call the clerk at home once more. They did and got a hold of her. The clerk did confirm she found the phone took it upstairs to customer service, however no one was there at counter so she left it there on the counter. I asked the other associate to see if security could see the video from that night, but they stated they could not see anything since there is not a camera by the office and there is a lot of traffic there anyhow. Why would the clerk leave a new $800 Iphone 7 plus with a gold bling case ($60) on the counter without telling anyone or locking it up in a drawer or a note. Macys is a high end store and should have more professionalism and security measures in place. A phone these days is just as important as a credit card. Why wouldn't this clerk ensure the customer's property was given to a manger or locked up? This incident is very upsetting to me and also the various people I know in this area that shop there. I had to file a report today with my phone insurance carrier and will have to pay a fee. Yes I left the phone but I knew where I left it and it was in the hands of a Macys employee. Very disappointing. What security measures does Macys have in place for lost articles that employees come across to protect their customers. read more

Visited the store on Dec 27th and had horrible customer service experience. My husband was interested in a sweater on a mannequin on display. We asked a male associate where we could find it. He just pointed us to the direction. We told him we looked all over and could not find it. He didn't even help us try to find it. I noticed the sweater on the mannequin was my husbands size, a medium. So I asked him if we could see the sweater and have it taken off the mannequin. He said they can only take it off if we are buying it. So I said, fine I'll buy it. He was not friendly and didn't seem interested to help us at all. Then he said he will have to call the manager. So I said fine. It took a while but eventually a manager did come down and advised us that they cannot take it off the mannequin. She said Visual has to do it and she'd take my name and number and have them call me the next day. What an inconvenience that we have to come back another day! I was irritated but agreed and gave her my name and number. Today is Dec 30th, it's been 4 days and still no phone call! What a horrible experience!
