A huge furniture store on the ground level of the Target mall. There are quite a few furniture stores in the Rego Park area. I ended up buying my new sofa here because of the large variety of styles, sizes and textures to choose from. Most other stores, just had a few styles. Best time to shop for the best price is during major holidays. I like to browse a furniture store without a salesperson hovering over me to gab a commission. I got that here. They were more than happy to help me when I was ready for a purchase. It was nice to be able to sit and relax on different sofas and choose from different styles and comfort levels. (Without someone hovering). I already came armed with measurements on how long, I wanted my sofa to be. Tip: Also brought along my handy measuring tape. Finally chose a sofa with a soft but slightly firm feel to the cushions. Best for long term wear and tear. Liked the sofa so much, decided to buy its little brother too. A matching loveseat. They didn't have a sample though, in the showroom. Made both purchases then decided to take one last look at my new sofa before leaving. Noticed that the tag on it, stated the measurements of the loveseat. Wow! Interesting. Good thing I looked. The loveseat was only a foot smaller than the sofa. At that size, it's a small sofa, not really loveseat size. Too big for the area I was placing it. I immediately went back to the original salesperson and was able to cancel the purchase of the loveseat without any problems or looks of disappointment from the salesperson. Salesperson will ask you to buy the add on of a stain cleaning service. I declined because I usually keep my sofa pretty clean. Also I think it's a hassle to get them to come over and clean a spot. Delivery: At the specified and agreed window of time, the deliverymen came with the sofa covered in plastic. They were careful putting down the sofa as to not scratch up the hardwood floor. He also stuck large felt pads on the bottom of the legs, to further protect the floor. Great service. Final note: I notice quite a few other reviews had an issue with their product or delivery service. Fortunately I didn't have any issues with either. I would stop by here for my next furniture purchase. Shop during major holidays for a great discount. I got a fabulous price for my much loved sofa. It's very comfortable. read more

This review is based on service. We actually purchased a mattress set at macys.com but had some issues with our purchase. We weren't too sure, and also considered some changes to our order. We did not have good fortune in resolving via phone so we decided to go in-person to the Macys on Queens Blvd after work. There we met with Henry Cepeda in the Mattress dept. He took such time and care, explaining and listening, showing us the product how we imagined it, and pros and cons - which saves us money!! We honestly felt like he really cared about us and making sure we are comfortable with our decision and purchase. Never did he try to upsell us, or pressure us . He even spoke to his manager on our behalf to help us process a change in our order and told us of another discount which we got (which would have never been available by phone or online). This worker was genuine. We could tell he cares about customers and our experience. You are so fortunate to have him on staff. He's why we would go to Macy's. We are sure it was probably close to the end of his workday too, but he never let it show. He said any problem at all we can call him or email him or even stop by and see him. Bought a rather pricy sectional couch almost two years ago and were happy with the instore service, delivery, and product. We are in the market for a new queen size bedroom set (bed, dresser, chest, side tables, mirror, etc...) so we stopped by. Had to hunt down a salesperson. When we asked a few basic questions and made it clear we were seriously looking, and even pointed out the three options we had settled on, his attitude was completely indifferent. Do I expect anyone to fall over themselves? Absolutely not. But I do expect the salesperson to at least talk price and other basic info. It was like pulling teeth to get any info at all. We were prepared to spend a few thousand dollars, but will likely do so where we can at least get interested service. Incidentally, I did look up all three sets on the Macy's site. All three are well within our budget, if not surprisingly below what we were prepared to spend. Hope that salesperson doesn't work on commission, because with his indifferent attitude, he lost a nice chunk of change in his wallet. read more

How is this place still in business??? Now I know why the reviews are so dismal. I ordered a bed and mattress from this place on the first of September. After calling several times, once I was on hold for 57 minutes, they set my delivery date for October 14. Yes, you read that correctly 6 WEEKS after I ordered the bed AND I had to continually call to get the delivery date. The gentlemen come into my home to see where the bed is going to be placed. I show them, they bring in their tools and then they remove my existing mattress/box spring and put on the truck. The delivery/setup men then open up the box with the parts for my bed only to discover that they don't all of the pieces necessary for the bed! They called the warehouse people, we called Macy's customer service, we called Macy's Furniture Gallery and I got shuffled around to about 6 different people. The last answer I got was stock on that bed no longer exists and they don't have the pieces for it! The first idiot I spoke to at Macy's customer service didn't even apologize for the complete lack of professionalism of the whole interaction. Everyone from the sales person to the delivery people to the customer service MUST be retrained. Delivery people - Do NOT remove the existing furniture until you have verified that you have all of the pieces for the new items you are setting up. Customer Service - At a minimum offer an apology because you are the dummies that messed up my order and delivery. I go back to Macy's Furniture Gallery in Queens, to get a comparable bed that could be delivered quickly. Macy's absolutely refused to honor the price of the bed I had purchased 6 weeks prior. Any bed that I saw that was similar, they refused to give me the same price and repeatedly offered me a new bed with a 10% discount. My salesperson, Basil, who was on vacation when the whole delivery debacle occurred, called me when he returned from vacation the next week and accused me of giving him a bad review without verifying the details of my order. Also, BASIL, the salesperson at Macy's Furniture Gallery on Queens Blvd in Elmhurst, Queens, told me on October 18th that he would look into my order and call me back to get me a bed. Today is November 16th and I am still waiting for that call. My best advice to anyone considering purchasing at Macy's Furniture Gallery - please, please go to Raymour & Flanighan instead. Macy's Furniture Gallery is awful. The service, the sales team, the customer service representatives, the delivery people (who are an outside vendor) all need to be trained properly. I've gone inside multiple times just to browse but have never bought anything since I think the furniture looks very cheap and it's not my style. The furniture is actually quite affordable compared to Room & Board, Crate & Barrel, etc. There's a lot of sales all the time. Once I was contemplating buying one of their sofas for our movie/office room as a temporary couch, but it wasn't worth the hassle. Don't bother with their cheap "leather" sofas. A family member bought one of their sets and even after simply one year, the sofa started to sag, perhaps they should've put a weight limit on it. It's been 3-4 years now and it's definitely in bad shape. I had 2 adjustable bases delivered about a year now and 1 was for my mom's room. She kept complaining something was biting after a few months when I checked the entire thing was crawling with bed bugs. My mom doesn't live our home and the bugs seem to be confined to just her room. I had pay lots of money to have her room exterminated. The other base I didn't bother to open out of fear and then I began to notice the bugs creeping out of the side of the box so I had it placed in the garage. Just a waste of money time n energy. We bought a sectional from Macy's. The staff was very nice during the purchase but after that, they dropped the ball. Delivery took over double the time (over 12 weeks) for our order and they were supposed to take a 10% discount off, which never came off, despite coming in several times and trying to straighten it out. When the sofa finally came, it came with left arms and was missing a sectional without arms and both of the left arms were damaged. This was a special order so we asked them if they could expedite this since we had already waited over 12 weeks for it and they said sure. Well now we are still waiting for the replacement sections and we were charged a special order charge again, even though we had paid that already and they owed us the 10% discount. After this experience, I would never order from Macy's again. Waiting 24 weeks for a sectional is ridiculous. read more

Awful customer service; my recliner broke and I've been waiting one month for the required piece. I've had techs come to my home four times and 3/4 times Macy's sent the wrong part! How is this acceptable? I spent a lot of money on my sectional, for what? To look at a broken recliner for almost TWO months now? Beware if something goes wrong you may be waiting for months. The store itself is nice but overall their products are too expensive. We were in the market for a new couch. Macy*s Furniture Store was the first place we stopped by. They have a very large selection of furniture but the nicest and most comfortable are grossly marked up. We found a really nice and large couch at Ashley Furniture across the street for over 1K less than the nicer couches at Macy*s. The sales help was friendly enough but felt a bit obligatory. After two trips into the store we decided to go elsewhere. There are many name brand furniture stores right across the street, I'd save some $ and check them out after a walk through Macy*s furniture gallery. I GOT JE*KED! This is what happened.... I wanted to buy a light color couch for the past few years but was reluctant because I was worried about it getting dirty easily, however one day I walked through Macy's found the perfect sectional for my living room, I spent around 45 min sitting there deciding whether it was comfortable and the consequences of buying a light color couch. Finally a salesperson Deb walked by, I asked her a few questions about microfiber and how easy it was to clean. She then proceeded to tell me about the 7 year warranty they offer and how it worked she was bubbly and friendly. After hearing about it I was confident to invest 4k for the couch plus the extra money for the 7 year warranty. Deb notified me that I needed to pay a 25%down payment first and when the couch is delivered (she told me it would take my couch 3-4 months to be delivered)my credit card would be charged for the balance. I was fine with that so we proceeded, she then came back with a bill which was 25% of the couch plus full payment of the warranty, I asked her if I paid for the warranty now when will it start? She said it would start immediately, so to me that didn't make sense, why would I want a warranty to start 3-4 months before the couch arrives? so I asked her to charge the entire balance including the warranty when the couch arrived which she agreed. Fast forward 3 months later... I got the call from Macy's that the couch was ready to be delivered, I was excited. April 21,2012 delivery guys arrived at my door they were really nice and professional good experience... Fast forward May 3rd 2012 I got my credit card bill, I noticed that only the couch was charged and I didn't see the warranty billed to my credit card, so I called Deb. on Monday May 7th 2012, I was notified she was away and wouldn't be back till May 10th, I called on the 10th and I was told she'd be back on the 11th, so on the 11th I finally got in contact with her and told her what happened thinking she'd tell me she forgot and will add the warranty back, but I was wrong.. she told me I had the couch in my house too long so they couldn't help me. What the??? By the way her tone was not the bubbly Deb that sold the couch to me, now she's totally toned down and cold even and on top of it not apologetic! without the warranty I would have NEVER bought such a light color couch and she knew that esp with all the questions I asked about the warranty and she convinced me how good the warranty is and she's fully aware that I made my decision on the color based on it... I told her I was really ticked off because about this and she said she would speak to a regional manager that was coming in, needless to say she called me back today again saying they will not do anything for me because again I had the couch in my house too long.....omg..I am really feel like I've been tricked and now I have a couch that is super light colored and I'm so worried and scared accidents or spills, I barely sit in it now.. We had an awesome sales person by the name of Daniel Hartz, Mattress Specialist, who helped us out with the whole mattress selection process for family members. He knew each model and spent time going through the most suitable ones for us. Talk about exemplary service. We really lucked out after reading some of the bad reviews on Yelp. Customer Service depends solely on the sales person providing the service. Shopping for a bed is definitely not like the old days when you had ordered the frame, with either the soft or firm mattress and shipped all inclusive with the boxspring. Shopping for a mattress is so high tech these days. The lingos- cooling gel, body temperature, etc... You can literally spend the whole afternoon here trying to figure out which bed is right for you. Tell Goldie Locks and the three bears that beds are not made like the old days any more. LOL. Delivery was a two hour time frame. There guys delivered the beds without a hitch. Geez... forgot mattress pads. Oh well! back to the department store I go. read more

Macy's customer service never told me that my couch got delayed twice! I wasn't notified the first time or the second time my couch got delayed until I called customer service and got hung up or put on hold 3 times in one day! After finally trying to speak to a representative they said the warehouse is just a little behind to expect an email from them within the next few days. I have yet to get a clear response on my couch after purchasing it a month and half ago. I am completely understanding due to COVID-19 many things have gotten difficult and items are taking longer than usual but Macy's the one company I thought I could rely on for my furniture has unfortunately not been very professional. This review is long overdue. On Memorial Day, I was in dire need of a new mattress. I went to Raymour and Flanigan across the street. It was a horrible experience. The manager was very cocky, very arrogant, spoke to me very dismissively I believe because I am a woman. Though a sale was being advertised for the memorial holiday, there was no actual sale going on there. In short, the managers attitude sucked and I decided I won't spend my money here and I decided I'm going to just go across the street and check out Macys. I thought Macys will be very expensive however, my experience was very different. The sales person's name was Jon Sanchez. he was amazing and very helpful. He was very polite and not pushy while I tried out the beds like Goldilock. Not only did Jon help me get a great deal on my Stearns and foster mattress and adjustable base but also got me a $300 gift card which came with purchasing the mattress, which was absolutely wonderful. I spent several thousand dollars on this mattress but I truly love it. One of the best purchases I made. Thank you Jon, you are a great salesperson. read more

I purchased two Drake curio cabinets and they arrived Nov 27th. Once the delivery guys left and I finally managed to check out my new Macy's furniture my excitement quickly deflated as I started noticing defective issues with both cabinets! For starters, the soft felt liner material around the opening to keep the dust out had a quarter space gap! Whats the point then? It's a feature of the cabinet to keep your collectables dust free! Even the old worn display model at Macy's was nice and tight. I checked and even took comparison pictures to prove my point. On one cabinet the sliding door wouldn't even slide smoothly! It kept grinding into something as you pass the center while sliding it. Also, it wouldn't open as much as the other Macy's curio cabinet. It would tighten about 6 inches short of where it should end in both directions! I scheduled a Macy's "professional repair" guy to come on Dec 5th and all he could do was spray some WD-40 and call it a day, thanks Mr. Professional! Obviously that didn't work. I called up Macy's on Dec 7th in hopes that all would work out. I Asked about an update and to my utter surprise this is NORMAL and not a manufacturers defect?!?! They didn't want to replace it! And i couldn't return it! Not without getting hit with their 15% restocking fee! After a heated response from yours truly, they finally agreed to replace one curio without fees. So on Dec 20 I finally got one of the curios replaced. This one does not have the defective sliding issue like the other. It slides smoothly in both directions as it should. Aside from all the top edge dings in the wood ( I counted seven) guessing from the delivery, the only problem with this curio is that when you slide the doors closed, the door panel doesn't line up with the frame. I am not exaggerating but it is either half an inch off on top if the bottom is all aligned or half inch off at the bottom if the top is aligned! I'm too exhausted to deal with anymore of these quality defects but what can I expect from a Chinese product and Macy's quality care for its customers. Either way, that is why I'm leaving this honest review of my Macy's experience and I hope I have saved someone some time and anxiety regarding any possible consideration of purchasing this curio cabinet. read more

What a disaster! Came here to buy a sofa we saw online and wanted to check in person. When it came to ordering it it took 3 staff members of whom no one knew how to use the in store ordering system. The process took HOURS it was like we were buying a car instead of a sofa. A process I could have done myself in 5 minutes on my phone via macys.com. The furniture is nice and well priced but this stores management team should be embarrassed. I blame the managers for not taking time to train their staff on equipment and making a positive in store experience. Its COVID I don't want to spend 4+ hours in your store because 3 associates cant figure out a computer. When I threatened to leave because it was making me uncomfortable they told me the staff worked hard and their almost done. I want the staff to get their commission but this was honestly a TERRIBLE experience. Im still not even sure if the sofa was ordered properly. Get it together!!! read more

How can i give them ZERO stars??????? all the employees there act like you are there impinging on their day. you have to approach someone for help, then you have to wait 45 mins until they feel like coming back to help you. ....if you are lucky. After 3 weeks of waiting I called back and apparently my order got canceled and the sales associate was on sick leave. Another sales associate told me rudely that he cannot be responsible for anyone else customers. THAT"s when i had it. I asked for the manager. The manager messed up on the order even after I gave her the SKU number, then she wasn't able to process my credit card because she messed up the order with another couch and wasn't able to cancel it right away. So I had to use another credit card all the while she just kept saying that I should make sure my account wasn't charged. She is supposed to be able to do her job, not cause more work for me to do. Always empty in here. I rarely see staffers or customers browsing -- if anything they are walking through to get out, which I had been doing myself. Having said that I was also able to look around in peace, without anyone approaching me. So that's good, granted I didn't seriously need any help. Occasionally they have nice setups and designs, to lure you into buying something. A few months back, they had full wall decals of prints of NY landmarks or taxis that seemed creative and really decorative. I was almost tempted to inquire about the price....almost. But I notice the furniture looks cheap, poor quality. Doesn't mean it IS cheap per se, but you can find furniture that looks more high end or classy, for a comparable and reasonable price elsewhere. Nothing looks appealing to try out or sit on. And their couches always look uncomfortable. Where are the cushy and relaxing recliners? Maybe I didn't venture in far enough. Never buy from them!!!!! Two stars because they have great furniture. You get what you pay for and they have high quality stuff at a decent price point. They lose three stars because their customer service is a complete let down. In store they are very helpful, knowledgeable, and not pushy. Bought a really nice bedroom set for $3000 and got good Black Friday discounts. Set up the delivery which wasn't free, but ok. My wife took Friday December 15 off as we were moving into a new apartment and set the delivery for that day, in the morning. On the day the weather said moderate snow starting in the mid afternoon, but our delivery window was between 10-1, so no problems, right? Wrong. First they called and delayed the delivery time to before 3, then they called again and delayed till 6, and then they called cancelling delivery because of the "storm". Now, I don't want delivery guys doing anything hazardous, but it was hardly a storm. UPS was deleivering. FedX was delivering. Verizon came and installed my FIOS in the "storm" of less than 3". But Macy's couldn't. My wife lost a day of work. When trying to arrange a new delivery date they could give us a day but wouldn't be able to confirm a time range until the day before, and my wife cannot take another day off. I only get paid when I work, so I gave them my time frame which they could not guarantee. So then I asked them to refund the delivery charge to compensate me for taking my day off, since there was no actual "storm". They said no. I said cancel my $3000 dollar order. Then I thought, let me call the nice salesman who helped with the purchase. He was great. Maybe he can help. The first words out of his mouth were "They tried to deliver but no one was home". What the fuck? My wife was home all fucking day, because we were unpacking into the new apartment that day, and I was home from 1pm on. We spoke to the delivery center who called us that day 3 Times as they delayed and eventually cancelled the delivery. He fucking lied to us about US. Then he backed off and said it was an act of god. I guess UPS and FEDX and Verizon are more powerful than god. Fuck Macy's. Good product does not make up for horrible customer device. read more

This was a very positive experience in every way. From start to delivery, we were impressed. I would STRONGLY ADVISE ANYONE GOING TO MACYS FURNITURE TO ASK FOR SCOTT BY NAME. I was there about ten times deciding on all three rooms and each time he was the epitome of first class white glove service. He's been doing a long time and his experience shows but his demeanor is so refreshing for a veteran. He seems to truly like his professsion and respects his clients. WARNING - BE CAREFUL ABOUT BUYING ANYTHING FROM MACY'S FURNITURE! They have nice stuff. It's pricey, but nice. But I've found them to be completely incapable of delivering the right products. Every time I had a delivery from them, they loaded the wrong things onto the truck. The latest was a platform bed and mattress. After the delivery people brought the items upstairs and set up the bed, they told me they had the wrong slats (rails). What they brought was for a King size. I ordered a Queen size. Par for the course. As mentioned, this isn't the first time Macy's fu***d up a delivery. But when they called in, we were told the slats were on back order and nobody knows when they will be in. A day later, they called and told me the slats were due in two months later -- this is for a bed that had already been ordered two months before. But wait, there's more. The slats were due to arrive in the warehouse in two months. They said it would probably take another few weeks, possibly a month, before the warehouse could sort the shipment and be ready to schedule a delivery. I swear, I'm not making this up. (I couldn't. I wish I was that creative but I'm not. If anybody wants to track this down to verify, the sales check # is 23271128; although I'm sure Macy's will refuse to talk. Anyway, understand what slats are. They are thin pieces of wood that run a long the bottom of the bed, under the box spring or for a platform bed,under the mattress. There are about 4 o5 5 that are more or less evenly spaced. The difference between Queen size and King size is the length. Now I'm not an retail genius, as I'm sure the Macy's executives are (by the way, this was actually escalated to the corporate executive office) but if I'd have been in charge, I'd have taken the slats to a lumber yard and had them cut down to size. But what do I know. After the folks in the executive office were unable to come up with a solution, I called and had them remove the bed, got a credit and bought a different one from a local store that also has good products and a track record of flawless delivery execution. Here's my real problem with Macy's. I honestly don't know if it's a case of grotesque stupidity. That, actually, would be the best case scenario. considering how in three deliveries over different periods of time, all were erroneous, how in each case the drivers tried to persuade me to accept the incorrect merchandise (the rocket scientist who delivered the wrong-size slats asked me if I had a saw -- for $800+, I'll be damned if I'm going to cut, especially given that I'm also a klutz; but I would have let them take the slats to nearby lumber yard, have them cut and come back), I wonder if Macy's knew before the trucks went out that they didn't have all the right merchandise and chose to try to persuade the customer to take what they had on hand rather than what is ordered. Three purchases, three "erroneous" warehouse truck loadings, and three efforts by drivers to persuade me to accept incorrect items -- a coincidence? Who knows. But whether it's honest idiocy or a subtle bait and switch designed to spare Macy's the expense of getting it right, I don't care. Both stink and I cannot imagine ever again buying furniture from Macy's. read more

We saw a few pieces of furniture that we liked and decided to go with that, our salesperson Richard told us all but 1 item would be at our apartment by our move in date. A few days later we are told that only 2 will be there on time and the rest would be available a month later. We wanted our furniture soon as promised so we decided to cancel our order since we were allowed to. We went in and talked to the manager who said she would cancel the order, the day after we called Richard to confirm the order was cancelled. 3 and a half weeks later we get an alert on our credit card saying Macy's wants to charge our account. We rejected the transaction and reported as a fraud since Macy's did not have approval to process a cancelled transaction. This was very inconvenient because we have to wait 2 weeks for a new credit card. Our salesperson never cancelled the order and wanted our money to show that he did a sale. Sales guys were great. However, it doesn't matter because they're not the ones you have to deal with to actually get your furniture. It's some big dispatch located across the country. They LIE LIE LIE LIE. I bought a bed and frame on Dec 2. Scheduled deliver for the 8th. Never came!! They changed the delivery time the day of delivery. And when they supposedly came, they never rang the bell. They made no attempts to contact us or make the delivery even though they said they did. They updated the website and said they delivered it as complete. LIE LIE LIE LIE!! Had to call them and ask what happened. Their response? They tried and left. LEFT? They made no fucking attempt. They don't even get paid until they drop it off, so wouldn't you at least try to finish the delivery? It was like 30 minutes after they left when I talked to them and THEY REFUSE to come back. They REFUSE to finish the delivery. I call to reschedule, which took another 3 days!!! WTF... Then finally they said they can deliver it. AND AGAIN IT'S NOT HERE at the very specific time THEY SCHEDULED at 8 in the morning. It's the 15th now. 2 weeks to deliver a bed. I understand it's christmas time, I get it can be busy.... But that does not excuse the LIES they tell me over and over. And it's not just one person - it's the managers, the dispatchers and everyone else I was on the phone with over the past week. An HOUR LATER AFTER IT WAS PROMISED, they show up. WE left them explicit directions MULTIPLE TIMES - with the dispatcher, the managers, the delivery guys on how to operate the door bell - easy, enter the number of the apt and press the bell button. EASY! AND THEY CAN'T DO THAT CORRECTLY. I guess if you fail to get a MCJOB, you become a Macy's delivery worker. SO INCONVENIENT..... DO NOT EVER GO TO MACY'S TO BUY FURNITURE. SHOP LOCAL, SHOP WHERE PEOPLE WANT YOUR BUSINESS AND WILL DO EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO COMPLETE IT. read more

Don't buy your mattress here...go to Boscovs! My son was moving to Boston for his job and needed a new mattress so I went to Macy's (on 5/14/21) since they had stores in MA and could deliver to his new appt. In Feb. I had just purchased a Beauty rest set for my daughter at Boscovs so I knew I wanted. Deirdre Zigarelli was my sales person at Macys. She was pleasant enough in the store and the prices were comparable to Boscovs so I purchased a mattress, box spring and frame. She quoted me 2-4 weeks for delivery and mentioned it would be on later side due to covid...which was fine. After 4 weeks, I called for the status and she told me the box spring was not in...it would be an additional 2-3 weeks! We then received a notification of a delivery date on 6/23. My son took off of work for the delivery, only to get a text the day of that for "unforeseen circumstances" the delivery was cancelled. They then cancelled the entire order so I we had to call back and get that straightened out... I should note, it was paid for! So then the order was rescheduled for 7/1. He took off again from work and the box spring was not included in the delivery. They told him it was cancelled. We did not cancel it. I contacted Deirdre who knew about the cancellation but never let us know! She then offered to have another box spring delivered on 7/23. 10 weeks from purchase! I told her it was unacceptable and that I wanted to be refunded the $ for the box spring. She was only willing to give me 1 cent! Said it was "thrown in" w/ the purchase of the mattress. After much discussion, she refunded me $120 for my troubles. We then had to go online to Jordan's Furniture in MA and order the same box spring for $200 but they could have it there in 3 days. Now that is service! Everyone I dealt with at Macy's was rude and misleading. I am venting but if you are local and need a mattress...go across the street to Boscovs. The guy in the mattress dept is great, the prices are similar if not better and you'll have the items in 1/2 the time or less. read more

I had the most pleasant experience here. I'm not going to get into the boring and extensive details about my sofa issues but I walked in there and went straight to customer service. The lady was NOT helpful at all. I think she just wanted to go on break or something or wanted to be somewhere else but she was no help at all. She was rude and seemed annoyed to be there. Then Martin came over and helped me with Eeeeverything I needed! He was such a gentleman and very helpful. Got my new sofa and chair from here. The saleswoman, Deb was friendly and super honest about the quality and steered us in the right direction. It was a great help since we wanted something as soon as possible and i was crazy indecisive. Plus we got our chair on clearance. Saved $500 bucks. I would go back to Deb. read more

I went to Macy's Furniture Center for a couch. Among their vast selection I also found a new dining room table that was on sale. I was helped by Scott who was very knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. It took just a little more time than I'd hoped for, but overall the experience was great! read more

I had the most horrible furniture shopping experience at this particular location. I had come in before with my sister and mother just cutting through the store on the way to BestBuy and my group was approached and asked "...need any help..". It was obviously a "No." because I was just passing through. My father and I though, purchased a mattress from them once and the transaction went well. On a later occasion, I dressed in business casual attire and went shopping for a sofa at this location with my brother. Macy's is constantly advertising its goods and I thought this would be a good place to shop. Boy was I dead wrong. We walked through the entire store, looked at different pieces and not once were we approached by any sales representatives. Even when I made eye contact with a sales representative she ignored me and looked away. Other people came in with their families and were greeted and helped. Granted; I do look on the younger side and he is young, but young adults do need furniture and have money or at the very least a credit line that they can use to spend on chairs and dinning tables. My group left the store upset with the unpleasant experience. We then proceeded across the street to Huffman Koos and Raymour and Flanigan. At those 2 other furniture stores we were greeted immediately, taken around the showroom by the associates for the product we were searching for and given their business cards so we could have extra time to decided because we were not ready to make the purchase right then and there. Ultimately, I went back to Huffman Koos and purchased a brown microfiber sofa from Fabian, that I saw, which fit in with the decor of my house. The salesman at Huffman Koos made out with the commission that the Macy's Furniture Gallery team-members missed out on. Today I'm very close to closing on a home of my own that will need to be furnished. And Macy's Furniture Gallery WON'T be on my list of places to shop. So in the future Macy's Furniture Gallery employees don't judge a book by its cover. read more

After looking everywhere for a classy grey bedroom set which was affordable and would fit in my room, I stumbled upon the Macy's showroom and fell in love the bed set I now own. Angel was super friendly and helpful in helping me purchase the set, and in setting up the delivery. It did take a few months for it to arrive (ordered in Nov 2020, delivered in March 2021), but that's COVID I guess. The delivery guys were quick and efficient, but I wish they had communicated with me more. They ended up just coming in and putting my furniture together, and were quick to leave, without making sure I was satisfied with the arrangement of the furniture and letting me check the furniture for any defects before they left until I stopped them and asked them to wait. Just felt like they could have been more considerate and made sure I was happy with the final product before rushing out the door. Not a big deal, so not dinging a star, just something to keep in mind for the future. read more

Recently purchased a sectional from this location with the help of Francis Marroquin. She was extremely helpful & not pushy. We fell in love with a sectional but did not purchase til two weeks later & to my surprise Francis remembered us. She was informative and friendly. I received a follow-up call hours after delivery to ensure I was satisfied with the product. About a week later, we saw that our couch had a one day sale (approximate $250 drop) from what we had paid for the couch. We contacted Francis & she made a few pulls on her end and got us a price adjustment. Truly a salesperson who works for her clients. I highly recommend Francis Marroquin for all your furniture needs. 5 stars but wish I could've given 10. read more
