She always remembers me and when I come in she knows what I like and we talk as though we've been doing business for years. She's very fast and gives me options by telling me about any pre sales. Diors counters are always spotless and their floors are clean. She is pretty awesome. She always reminds me of Macy's coupons available to me. Ordered a perfume gift set of the Tiffany Rose Gold perfume online. Received it and didn't like that there was no staying power at all. Even when I layered it with the lotion, doesn't at all last. Dissipated after an hour.....anyways I of course went into Macy's to return it and decided to try another scent which was the Coach Floral parfum. I got it home and when I opened it I can tell it was used. When I pay good money for a perfume I expect it to be NEW not already used. In the picture you can see some scotch tape keeping the heart mirror in place on a crushed box. We stopped by Macy while visiting the Valencia Town Center. My wife wanted to take a look at their jewlery so when she was doing that, I just went walking around the store. This is a 2 level Macy so they have a lot of stuff on display. There a Toys R Us here and also some furniture along with mattresses as well. I had a very rude experience in the fitting room of Macys with an employee named Parvin. I had tried on a pair of pants and sweater and opened the door to check the mirror, as I was closing it, your employee pushes the door open and asks me what clothes I have pointing to the bench inside the fitting room and I told her I don't have clothes on the bench and she proceeded to ask me what I was doing in the fitting room then. I told her I was trying the clothes I currently had on. She proceeded to be very rude rolling her eyes stepping back out of the fitting cubical. I had my 10 year old daughter there who witnessed the whole thing and I had to debrief her on how sometimes people like us get bullied for our appearance or our skin. Imagine having that experience in one of your stores... absolutely disgusting. It bothered me enough to write this out. Do better. read more

My service here was unfortunately less than satisfactory. I came in a few days ago to exchange my coco Chanel perfume. I felt the woman at the service counter was rude and made me feel uncomfortable for exchanging my perfume, almost as if treating me like a criminal. I only had the perfume for 7 days and hardly used it. I felt it didn't go with my body chemistry and that's why I wanted to exchange it. She turned to her manager and was whispering. The manager said it was fine and she continued to keep whispering to her, I'm not sure about what but the behavior of this woman shortly thereafter continued to make me increasingly uncomfortable. She was following closely behind almost breathing down my neck while I was trying to find another fragrance for my exchange even though I was directed to another associate for help. Needless to say, I will no longer be coming her for any fragrance purchases or services in the future. read more

I'm not picky on where I buy my clothes. But this place had false prices. For my job I needed a long black sleeve button up collared shirt, I surprisingly couldn't find any anywhere so I went to Macy's. Thankfully they did have some, and I understand it's an expensive brand but it was in the discounted section. The sign clearly said $19.99 and under, so I went for it because I needed the shirt for work. I checked the tag before hand and saw $24.99, thinking it was the price for the tax included. It wasn't. It came out to nearly $30. I told the lady at the register that the sign said it was $19.99 and under, but she said that $19.99 means $24.99????? Like hello? 24.99 is not equal to 19.99?? If it's $24.99 then just put a sign saying that, instead of putting it under $19.99, it wasn't misplaced either because it was all organized with similar shirts of same branding and different colors. I'm not sure if an employee messed up and put it under the wrong section, but it was pretty disappointing and led me to buy something under a false price.. i wouldn't have bought it if I didn't need it. I ordered a pair of sunglasses (Dolce & Gabbana) through the Macy's/sunglass hut website. The glasses were delivered on December 2nd at 8pm. The next morning December 3rd I retrieved my order from the parcel locker at my residence. I opened the box and decided the glasses I purchased were too feminine for my husband. After work I went straight to the macys in Valencia, CA to return them. I arrived at 5:16pm. I did not even have the glasses in my possession more than a few hours. When trying to return them the woman who stated she was the manager refused to take them. She said she could only exchange them not refund me. Why can you only exchange them?!! They are returnable!She was rude the entire time. She kept tapping the sunglasses I wanted to return with her nails and said there was a scratch on them and there was nothing she could do. I saw absolutely no scratches on the glasses!!! And had there been a scratch it was not my fault they were sent to me in that condition and it was even more reason to fix the situation. She treated me as if I was beneath her. I am very disappointed in the customer service I received and the people you have representing your company. I called after I left to get her name and was give the name Rochelle. I now am stuck with glasses I have no use for and I am out a few hundred dollars due to her not wanting to return them because most likely it will effect her sales for the day!!! Do not buy jewelry from here. I was gifted a very expensive bracelet that broke very easily. The person that gifted it to me even bought a warranty in case it broke. When it broke I took it back to Macys to have it fixed and they said they could fix it. I got a call to come in and pick it up. However, when I came there a man working told me the bracelet could not be fixed and he would have the manager give me a call the next day. I received a call almost 2 weeks later and the woman who called me was not informed my bracelet was broke and needed to be repaired she thought I just forgot to pick it up. I got this bracelet in December and I have been waiting months to get it back. They made me come back for nothing and they are still not answering my calls to see what is going on with my bracelet. Don't ever purchase furniture from this Macy's. We purchased an expensive leather electric recliner from this store a little over a year ago. Well the recliner no longer works after a year and we called to have the company send out a repair person. He showed up and determined that it needed either a new switch or new motor but needed to examine further. Very shortly after his visit we received a call from Macy's representative who told us there was nothing they could do to help us as a year had passed and there was no extended warranty. So much for customer service. For the price we paid for the leather electric recliner it should have not stopped working after just a little over a year. We will never purchase any furniture from Macy's again. Save yourself a headache and take your money elsewhere where they appreciate your business and customer service is important. When I had a similar situation with a furniture purchase from JC Penney's the store manager personally found a new piece of furniture to replace the broken piece. Now that's customer service! When Macy's goes through its next round of store closures (and given the lackluster financial picture of the company there is sure to be more) I wouldn't be surprised if this store is on the list. Finally the fact that you don't see any responses from Macy's management to any of the negative reviews lets you know how little they care about their customers or customer service. read more

He really knows his stuff and how to negotiate the ordering/shipping/delivery system! My daughter needed a mattress so of course I recommended Macy's. Keeping in mind the Covid S storm, I have to give kudos not only to Jun, but also Enrique and Oscar with White Glove delivery. Even though her mattress came without the frame they made arrangements to deliver it within 2 days. They knew my daughter was anxious to receive her mattress so they waited in the parking lot for 45 minutes until they confirmed I was there to receive delivery. They worked quickly, checked the adjustable frame and took all packing/trash with them. Not to mention Jun called every day to follow up regarding delivery . read more
