Even better - Jeanie is very familiar with the venue & shared some helpful insight as well as recommended her favorite dishes at their restaurant. Back in June 2020 at the height of COVID, I got married. It was a whirlwind because the county clerk was marrying people over the phone, and I only had a little over two weeks to get everything together. I ordered a 50 dollar dress from Amazon, but when it arrived it was too long. The only place open at the time for alterations was this little shop, and honestly they saved me. I dropped my dress off on a Thursday, and by Saturday it was perfectly hemmed just in time for my Wednesday wedding. That same dress is still hanging in my closet, and it looked beautiful on my big day thanks to them. Five years later, I brought in a few new dresses before a big trip to Hawaii. I dropped them off on a Wednesday, and they had them ready for me that Saturday, the day before I flew out. The timing could not have been better, and the dresses fit perfectly. Now I have also brought in my tennis dresses for alterations, and I know they will do another great job. What I love most is how comfortable the seamstress makes you feel. Never awkward, always kind and accommodating. The turnaround is quick, the quality is excellent, and the service is truly amazing. I had to get a tux for my wedding. I quickly searched for suit rentals around my area(Santa Clarita) and one of the places that cane up was J Davids. Like a normal person i quickly went to the reviews and was happy to see a very positive review section so i decided to give them a try. i was first helped by Jeannie who quickly welcomed me into the store and immediately pulled out a book and browsed over some choices for me. The process to get fitted went very smoothly and quickly. Three weeks later i went back on a Tuesday to try on the tux for my wedding that saturday. We had a problem with the shirt and needed a new one. There was also a problem with the jacket as it did not fit as intended. They assured me it wasnt a problem and new items would be ordered and sure enough i was back that Thursday to try on the new items. Jacket was great but we still had a problem with the shirt. I started to get nervous as my wedding was in 2 days. Well they went above and beyond and were able to get me a new shirt the very next day and i was ready to get hitched.
