When I tell you, I've never experienced such a hostile aggressive person. This was my first time encountering someone who literally tried to compare me and my spouse to being a business owner and an employer, like himself and putting myself in his situation because he was trying to punish an employee in front of us for telling us lies that we could not get a discount basically he is unprofessional his demeanor gives off aggressive. It was to the point that I felt uncomfortable. I literally told that man it's the holidays cheer up be nicer to your employees and guest he continued to taunt me and the whole situation was unprofessional and weird half he gave me the 10% discount on the shoe because it was a display and he told the staff member in front of I'm gonna deal with you later. Whether it's been fishing gear, kayak accessories, clothes or cleats I've gotten some great things that have lasted me for years. You can find great deals through the app & at this location depending when you look. I've found things like Nike shorts for more than half off & I recently gotten a fishing kayak at a significant discount because Quest has a sale. I also ended up getting a $15 discount (that wasn't advertised) on a life vest when I scanned my app at the checkout. You can also get oversized products shipped to the store for pick up so you don't have to pay oversized shipping fees. We had a very disappointing experience at this location while trying to exchange a pickleball…read morepaddle. The paddle felt off right out of the packaging, and we simply requested an even exchange. The store manager, Angela or Angelica, was unhelpful and dismissive throughout the interaction. They brought out a replacement paddle from the back that had clearly been opened, dirty and the face of the paddle had clear signs of use. The handle wrap was missing and dirty. We asked for another, pointing out that this one had no original packaging either. When doing the exchange she told us that without the original wrapping, our paddle couldn't be resold and therefore couldn't be exchanged. When we mentioned that they were just about to give us a paddle in the same unwrapped condition, she had no response. We also pulled up the official return policy, which states: "For other items, we may accept returns for items that are clean and in good condition, even if they have been opened, tried on, or tested." There is no mention that pickleball paddles are excluded or that original packaging is required for these items. Despite calmly explaining our position, she told us, "Being difficult is not going to get you anywhere," even though we repeatedly made it clear that we weren't trying to be difficult we were just asking for fairness. She finally agreed to the exchange, but not without saying, "I'm going to do this one time, but don't do it again," in a tone that felt more like we were children being reprimanded than paying customers. Overall, this was an unprofessional and frustrating experience. We expected consistency with store policy and basic respect neither of which we received.
