We were in Moab, Utah on vacation and my 2018 Harley Tri-Glide battery failed on us. A local told us to go to Mad Bro and they were so helpful. The Gentleman who helped me was so kind to understand our predicament. The bike was stuck at the hotel and we didn't even have a tool to remove the seat to get to the battery so we could jump start it and then drive it 3 miles down the street to get Mad Bro's to install a new battery. Mad Bro volunteered to come to our hotel and jump start the battery then I followed him down to the shop where they promptly installed a brand new battery. All-in-all, this only took them long enough for my wife and I to go to lunch then return and pick up the bike for our continued fun riding around Moab! I even offered to leave a tip and they refused. The charges were more than fair and were probably about $100 less than if I had taken it to my local Harley shop in Phoenix, AZ. These people are completely competent, kind, they empathize with your situation when you are in a stressful situation and very very honest, keeping their word and going out of the way to get you back on the road in the least amount of time and inconvenience. These guys are cheap asses trying to stay afloat. They quoted me at $100 dollars for the job. I come to pick up my part and it was over $300 after tax. The guy starts reading off the work order and they charged me for the parts ( which I purchased separately and supplied) after speaking to a manager he said the price was only for service and that the quote was 100 hourly not in total. NOT what the guy said originally. I calmly and politely told them that I was mislead and felt taken advantage of and they didCrooked business, will never return. (Update) just got a flat. I've been to Moab several times and have not been impressed with local businesses until now. My dirt bike broke on first day of out trip. Went to Mad Bros and they were very helpful. Mechanic came out from back of store to talk through issue with me and offered a few tools. It turned out to be a simple electrical issue that we fixed. The only charge was for the parts I needed. I contacted Mad Bro Sports in Moab about servicing my two Harley Davidson motorcycles. I asked specifically if they had or could get Harley Davidson 20w50 oil. They said they didn't stock this oil but could get it and would order the oil with two oil filters. They called and said the order was in and we took both Harleys in. When I picked up the Dyna and headed for home in the afternoon I soon discovered that I had no rear brakes. I continued home and called. They asked me to bring it in the next day which I did. When I called I talked with one mechanic and asked if they had checked the brake master cylinder. He said he didn't know because the other mechanic had worked on the bike. I took the bike in the following day and was informed that during service they don't check any fluids on change the oil???? I left after they checked the hydraulic fluid and I did have brakes. While riding home my Screaming Eagle new engine (1300 mi.) begin to make loud noises as the cams and lifters were rattling like I have never heard. I shut the bike off and called them and asked what kind of oil they had put in my bike. They replied they used a HD equivalent oil. Two different Harley Dealers advised me not to run the bike on that oil that the engine could blow. I contacted the owner of the shop and they said if I purchased the Harley Oil, they would change it for free. After paying $350.00 for a service I would expect that I would get some satisfaction. But not !!!!!! I wouldn't even give a one star, but you have to select at least one. The reality is this shop deserves less shouldn't be in business. read more
