When we requested drinks, she brought the wrong items like Diet Pepsi instead of Diet Coke, and seltzer water instead of Sprite. She then disappeared for an extended period, spending most of her time at the host stand rather than checking on tables. We ate without drinks. We wanted to ask for more bread she was no where to be found. The neighboring couple had similar issues, mentioning she forgot their coffee order entirely. While we sympathized that she may have been new or inexperienced, the lack of attentiveness and basic service fundamentals made for an uncomfortable dining experience that didn't match the restaurant's reputation. The ambiance seemed very old school and family friendly. There were a ton of tables but it was also very cold like the heater at the restaurant wasn't working. I was very impressed with the handmade centerpieces which was a cross on a base with balloons. The favors were chocolate covered oreos with crosses on them. You can tell they use premium chocolate. The packaging was very fancy and definitely added to the table decor. My friend also used them for her husband's birthday for cake pops and cupcakes which were sport themed and so delicious. A Delightful Balloon Experience That Floated Above Expectations!…read more I confess, I initially doubted the prowess of a small, independent balloon business in the hustle and bustle of NYC. Living in another state, I almost defaulted to a big chain store whose name I recognized, thinking they'd have a better selection and reliability. Boy, was I in for a delightful surprise! Instead, I googled "Best Balloons Delivered to Prospect Heights," and Sabrina's Creations popped up. Google was right about this fabulous woman-owned balloon business. She was a breath of fresh air. Reliable, attentive, and truly dedicated to making my vision a reality--at a very reasonable price, including delivery. I felt like I'd stumbled upon a hidden gem in the concrete jungle! Despite my worries about logistics, she delivered (literally) beyond my expectations. I gave her a four-hour window for delivery, and she impressively narrowed it down to just one hour, and then further to a half hour. And before heading out, she sent me a picture of the bouquet for any last-minute tweaks (you can see it at the top of her website-at least today)-it's the blue bunch of graduation balloons, including an inflated diploma!). Spoiler alert: it was perfect, and the recipient was over the moon! Her communication was great, her customer focus unparalleled, and her reliability unquestionable.
