I reached out to Tim on short notice and he was able to schedule the inspection the following day. This was the most professional and detailed inspection I have ever had. They did a complete inspection including the septic, well and a water quality test. This is the first time an inspector physically checked the tank on the well and septic and did a scope on the septic field. They provided a detailed inspection report that was broken down by areas. In addition, they provided a list of recommendations and a complete series of pictures to match each section and recommendation. It was well worth the cost of the inspection. Very very kind and helpful. Calling to schedule the inspection was easy, as was meeting Tim and his son, who did the inspection together. They gave a quick verbal brief during the inspection (which they let me observe), then an official document after the fact, complete with pictures. They were thorough and clear, and sent me a prompt write-up report that very same evening. They must have worked into the night to get it done. The write-up was easy to access and user-friendly. Tim performed an "inspection" on a home we were about to buy but missed many issues, one of which has cost us about $6,000 and isn't finished yet. This man is in the pocket of the real estate agents and does not tell you that there is a disclaimer on his contract absolving him from standing by his evaluation until AFTER he finished his "inspection". He missed thousands of dollars of hidden and visable defects in our house. Do NOT hire him. And he will blame the owners for not disclosing serious flaws. We complained to the Maine Real Estate Commission and they put the blame squarely on HIM. Obviously after being defaulted and having a contract shoved under our noses that absolves him there is no point in suing him. That's what he counts on. read more

If I could give no stars I would. We bought our house while living out of state and put our trust in our home inspection that it was done correctly. Our realtor suggested Tim and we trusted that referral. After we moved in we have found close to 10 things that the inspector missed that were CLEARLY not up to par. Some of those things costing us thousands of dollars. Tim is not an honest guy, it was not until after the inspection and payment was made that we learned the final report would say he could not be held liable for anything he missed. When we reached out to him about his deceptive ways and poor inspection he couldn't care less. Yes, he refunded us our inspection fee but that no where covers the rotten deck, broke microwave, cracks in the walls, broken faucet, double leak in the attic, broken door knob, etc etc that we now have to pay out of pocket to fix that could have been fixed before we bought the house. Not once did he even apologize. Tim only cared about getting paid and not being honest or providing a proper inspection. After this, we have found multiple other reviews similar to ours. Don't waste your money and trust on Tim, he doesn't care about you nor your house...just that check at the end of the inspection. read more
