Along a nice street with lots of murals and small businesses, this boutique gift shop stood out and drew in my wife and six-year-old daughter. They sell a variety of gifts from unique greeting cards to pins to local art. My daughter bought a rainbow and a unicorn pin.

Nice selection of Phoenix based artists. I was looking for a quick gift for a friend and I wanted something handmade. I had many options to choose from and the prices were very affordable. I highly recommend it. I also bought a handmade card there. Overall great experience.

Another awesome visit to MADE. We travel all the way from Surprise to visit here as often as we can, and are always so excited to find a few new items from our favorite local artists. I collect stickers/pins and their selections great. Every employee is always awesome, engaging and we even get lucky sometimes and get to chat with the artists themselves which is cool to see who you're supporting. They've done some updates with all the construction in the neighborhood, and while although smaller inside now, it's still jUst as awesome.

I absolutely loooove MADE and everything in it! I wish I could buy everything here! They have all kinds of goodies; art pieces (wood, ceramic, metal, hand sewn, and many other materials) pottery, jewelry, clothing, pins, greeting cards...and so much more. And rhe prices are very reasonable. I paid $111 with tax for 3 gorgeous pieces and a funny pin. The best part is that everything is either made in Phoenix or nearby. Sally was working in the store when we stopped by. She is the sweetest and very helpful. After Ieaving, I realized I didn't know the artist's name for a couple pieces I bought. I called the shop right away and she was happy to help me get that info. I'm so happy we stumbled upon this store on our way out of Phoenix. It was our favorite part of the city!

I keep meaning to ask if they do gift registries at this store. Because my friends say I'm hard to buy for, and I just don't get it. Go to Made. Apply blindfold. Spin. Stop. Walk forward. Buy what you touch. Unless it's baby clothes. It's that easy. I really love this place. I make people go here. I got a rockin' ring here. Some cool books. Of course a few magnets. Recent purchase was a baby t-shirt (for friend) that said angel on the front and had a pic of wings on the back. Aw.... And the selection is often changing as artists create new things. You should go. You need to go. Just go.

I had a very teeny tiny issue with a $12 product - probably the least expensive item in this Upscale (trying to be Upscale) store. For some reason the cashier called the owner at her home to discuss what to do. WHAT TO DO !!! ???? She was impatient and offered no help - wanted my cc # or whatever for a very unique product . I left with no credit, no refund, ZIP ZILCH. How about "no worries lets get you something else" THE RESPONSE elicits how a customer feels, responds, and maybe reviews on platforms that have a big influence on diners, shoppers etc. The owner called me out on my review saying I was threatening yelling, and scaring the employees. I am 70 and injured with a smashed shoulder, four broken ribs and a brain bleed. The last time I yelled at any employee was probably 1980. And I am harmless - never did that. The owner is a FIRE STARTER and would do better with people if she was an Amazon Warehouse worker and not a front facing small business owner. This is a bad ending and the fire will burn because she is a fire starter. BAD ENDING FOR HER and the fire is going to burn.

The store is packed with any genre of sheet music and books (and TAB form) for every instrument you can imagine (banjo, dulcimer, mandolin, vocals, guitar, piano, brass instruments, woodwinds, etc all of them). They sell accessories such as guitar strings, tuners, straps, picks, music stands, and some acoustic guitars and banjos as well. Vinyl records and small musical gifts line the walls, it's so fun to explore and each time you visit you'll find something new, as there's so much selection. The vibe is very relaxed and they are never pushy, you can look around for 30 min alone exploring if you want and just ask if you need anything. Love this place and can't recommend it enough, it's also a vintage store with history dating back to the 1950's so it has such cute charm and decor, it's an experience that online shopping can't give. Such a great experience - we'll definitely be back when it's time to upgrade to the next one!

My sister and I had just visited their Tempe location and were delighted in how similar but different this Changing Hands was from Tempe's shop. I find their prices to be so fair, especially for a fairly small indie bookshop--support small book sellers!
