I actually think I was here the last time I was in Scottsdale several years ago but I didn't Yelp it so who can say? Regardless, Mom found some things that she could not leave Arizona without and I picked up some candy for the office and prickly pear honey for my employees. While there Mom tried on some cowboy hats and honestly should have just bought one, but she's never been a hat person. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, from the moment we walked in the door to the checkout process, which is always nice to see--so many souvenir shops have staff that are as likely to stab you as they are to help you. The prices really run the gamut and I suspect some items are priced as loss leaders for others, so just choose wisely and you won't go wrong with your finds at Kactus Jock.

Off to the right in the front corner of the store is where you'll find a funny book, canvas bag, or Post-It Notes. To the left front of the store, past the registers, is where you'll see cool kitchen gadgets. That's where we get our little plasticware sets to bring to fairs and festivals and road trips.
