I have had my trucks done by Made in the Shade for many years and have never had anything but professional quality workman ship and customer service. I would not take my vehicles any where else for tinting. read more

POOR QUALITY OF WORK AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I went with Bob to tint my new vehicle because I'd heard a lot of good things about the quality of work and what I got from him was anything but quality. Not only did he leave the inside of my car filthy but my tint has bubbles dirt and random hair stuck under it and the cuts on several windows are absurd I'm talking 1/4 gaps on the sides of my windows. I've never seen a worse professional tint job in my life. He was able to come do the job the day after i called him but when i asked him to come back and look at the issues I was having it took him about 10 days or so to get there. He offered to fix it but after hearing all of his excuses about it being "the car and the way the windows are" that caused the problem I no longer wanted him to. I asked for a refund and wanted to go elsewhere. At that point it was as if his ego was bruised and he started talking to me like a trashy teenager that wanted to fight in the parking lot after school. So at this point I'm out the $250 that he charged me and I'll have to pay someone else to strip and redo it. He is so arrogant that even after doing a clearly horrible job on my car he felt the need to play tough guy and act like a child. Like I said I've heard great things but he's clearly lost the passion for his work and certainly has no clue what customer service is. read more

I have zero experience with car window tinting and the first place I called in Clinton Twp was RUDE…read moreso I hung up and called this place. They showed me the darkness options and my three quality options , including the benefits of selecting the ceramic or top shelf tints versus the basic. I paid $375 for the ceramic tint (that's their middle option) which honestly seems high to me but I had to wait five weeks just to get in and they guarantee their work while I own the car so hopefully it's worth it. I'm glad I waited because the tint turned out beautifully, no streaks or bubbles and the tint is black not purple. I wanted darkest in the back and then fade lighter as you get to the front seat-it's perfect.

We have used this company for many years. Won't go to anyone else. Workmanship is superb. Owner is friendly, informative, knowledgeable....can't say enough nice things. Even had him come to our home and tint our sunroom windows-awesome to not have that afternoon heat beating down on us and it cuts down on UV rays.
