I love walking fifth avenue and sneaking in for my free sample. The store is well lit and very clean. Everything has a place on the shelf displayed evenly and tempting. Walking in you see freshly made chocolates with many colors and flavors. You are met with a giant Statue of Liberty made of chocolate and see the sign "Chocolate experience from Switzerland". Two worlds colliding to give a delicious taste. There's an overflowing section of small wrapped candies to choose from as well in the center where you can pick individually wrapped chocolate to make your own box of fancy treats. It's a hard decision to decide. However I love the slabs of fresh chocolate filled with nuts and fruits. My favorites are the Carmel and milk chocolate. First off, one of the owners Sylvie, is such a gem! She was the most kind person and shared so much about the business. You can tell she loves what she does. There are so many chocolate items to choose from such as chocolate bars, ice cream, Belgium coffee/hot chocolate, and individual chocolate pieces. They have some samples for folks to try in case you don't know which one to get. My personal favorite was the Belgium flag chocolate as well as the cookie butter chocolate bar. Everything here tastes super gourmet. The space is a little small and only has 2 tables, so it doesn't make for a good place to hang out. But it's a good place to go if you ever want to watch someone make chocolate.
