We eventually found this place and they were SO welcoming! We dropped them off and they had so many great options for the dogs, including licky mats and a Thanksgiving meal! We got some amazing pictures and they really went above and beyond to play with the dogs and make sure that they were well loved and exercised. They even put their food into kongs to give them more stimulation. Really such a wonderful caring place and for half the price of what we would have paid at a dog hotel where they wouldn't have gotten that love and attention. We had a special family party in the area, and we didn't feel that we could leave our elderly dog in a kennel, while we traveled to Delaware. When we arrived at the kennel, Paul and Kyle came out and welcomed us to their business, and more importantly, welcomed our dog. The business is in a quiet area, not far from the Delaware beaches. It was clean and the pets had different areas to be cared for, at different times of the day. She provides excellent care for both of my dogs in the warmth and comfort of her own home and leaves me with no doubts whenever they are in her care. My dog did not smell as if he was bathed and the cut was just awful. His facial hair was lopsided, which I had to correct and he had nicks from whatever type if clippers that they used. My dog was not himself for the rest of the day from this experience. I suspect that the person who did this was not a trained groomer, maybe just filling in for an actual groomer. Never again!
