Our hotel provided the information brochure. Made a phone call and they were kind enough to book us for the same day appointment. Drop off starts from 7:30AM - 11AM. Pick up is before 7PM. Proof of vaccination is required to board your pet and cash payment of $30-40 per day. Frances who greeted us at the door was absolutely wonderful. He made it easy for us to leave our dog with him and enjoy the day. Tamara who was there for the evening shift was pretty awesome. There were few dogs and 2 cats already but, most of them were pretty calm and friendly. There were several separated areas for pets to sleep in. Ample space for visiting pets to be playful and stay comfortable. Will be sure to visit again if we travel with a pet in the future.

I decided to try grooming to see if it could sooth his skin. I was a little hesitant as there were no recent reviews but I needed to try something and fast. I had a conversation with Patti over the phone and she was really patient in listening to my concerns. She was able to take us the next day and gave my boy a soothing medicated bath. She truly loves animals and you can tell as soon as you meet her. I have a temperamental Pomeranian mix, and he lets her groom him efficiently without issues. What is most remarkable about Patti is the care and affection she gives your pet. Not only did she trim my pom's feet for free on a nail-clipping only trip, but gave my chihuahua a mini-reikiki session because she is in congestive heart failure. Patti thought it necessary to give her a little extra love. Would you receive such service at a chain store? Absolutely not. The facilities may not be as conventional as others, but Patti has always done a wonderful job and her customer service is incredible. I will always be one to support small and local businesses, and Ruff Cuts is no different.

His tail was bleeding, the end was raw and they had provided no care nor notified us. They simply left him to suffer, not even antibiotic cream and not even a bandage. This kennel, (check other reviews) including death of an animal, broken leg etc, cost my dog 5 inches of tail that had to be amputated due to their negligence. When asked their answer was "It happens" you signed a liability waiver. I have an 11 year old Sheppard, former working dog who has been kenneled in other locations prior to us moving here for up to three weeks at a time and this has never happened. Its physics, they placed the dog in a kennel to small for him, and most likely did not get him outside enough, resulting in him banging his tail just over a 7 day period. I WOULD NOT RECOMMED THIS FACILITY TO ANYONE FOR ANY REASON. THEY ARE STAFF DOES NOT CARE ONE BIT ABOUT MAKING SURE YOUR FAMILY MEMBER IS TAKEN CARE OF. She has a lot of hair, it's not matted, but there's just a LOT of it. She's usually pretty easy but it takes a long time to do her grooming because there's so much hair. Glad to FINALLY have found someone who cuts her hair the right way! She gets her ears cleaned and nails trimmed. The place is clean, quiet and uncomplicated. No drama at the front desk. Just a lot of puppies greeting you upon arrival !
