She is very hands-on, and always makes time to answer my son's questions. As a mom, I love her explanations, budget friendly solutions, quick turn around on repairs/parts, etc, and knowing that I can always ask a question and get all the information I need in plain English! Such a treat to have at our fingertips such a wonderful technician with genuine care and compassion for her patients. Highly recommended, again and again!

This is a very helpful audiology office - and audiologist. I agree with the other reviewer who…read moresaid that Dr. Robin Solomon is a class act. She is terrific - and her new office is in a convenient location right near the Wilton campus of Adirondack Community College. I had been one of her patients at The Hearing Shop (Wilton Medical Arts/Saratoga Hospital) and was very disappointed in the hospital when they closed that office depriving me and everyone else of Dr. Solomon's talents. My hearing aids needed service and the hospital would not/could not provide the warrantee service that I had paid for. I went to another audiology office in town - but it was just not the same. I guess I was spoiled and hadn't realized just how good Dr. Solomon is. As luck had it I encountered Dr. Solomon in town while she was doing some work with a local charity and she told me that she was in the process of setting up a new private practice. I'm thrilled because I need to replace my hearing aids soon and there is nobody I'd trust more than Dr. Solomon. If you need help with your hearing or hearing aids - this is the office to call. Some patients benefit from different settings for morning versus evening sessions, or adjustments based on their daily tinnitus fluctuations." "The device monitors your usage patterns and can adjust subsequent sessions based on how you've been responding. This adaptive capability means your treatment becomes more personalized over time, potentially improving effectiveness as the system learns your individual response patterns." "The latest Lenire systems incorporate machine learning algorithms that can identify patterns in how different patients respond to treatment. This data helps refine treatment protocols and potentially predict which patients are most likely to benefit from specific programming approaches." NONE of this is true. The device does not store multiple programs, monitor your usage, adjust sessions, or "learn" your response patterns. This is an agency willing to create and publish lies to make money.

Someone picked up the phone and disconnected the call, so I called back and the phone rang and rang and rang and then the call dropped. I tried a couple other times and the same thing happened. I tried Saratoga and the phone was consistently busy. I got on website with chat and representative said she would have someone contact me and of course that hasn't happened. I drove to Albany office from Latham which took about 40 minutes and told the receptionist what happened. She told me Castleton is closed rest of week. She said if I had left message she would have called me back. I reiterated calls were being dropped in her office. I was never given chance to leave message. I certainly didn't drive all the way over there because it was fun. She couldn't get me in today but gave me 8am appointment. I don't know what is going on with Madison Saratoga but I won't be buying any more hearing aids from them. Thanks for the response from the Office Manager, but when you see Customer Review Ratings of 1.63/5 on the Better Business Bureau for Madison Saratoga aka Hearing Life, then it looks as though many, many people, specifically customers, are struggling with respect for the company, apparently not just me. But, I do think it is The Hearing Aid business in general that is unregulated that is the problem. They also deal with the elderly, though not always, the hearing impaired and the marginalized due to their disability. Or in other words-the vulnerable.

I bought the hearing aids a little over 2 years ago through my husband's union and Hearing in America with a contract. I confirmed with Hearing in America today that my contract/warranty was indeed for 3 years. The folks at Hearing in America are going to contact Madison Saratoga, about this issue and what looks to be an erroneous charging issue, on my behalf. I will let them work it out-hopefully they can get through on the telephone. At the time I was charged, I did ask why I hadn't been charged before if my contract was up after one year and there was no response. It is exhausting between phones that don't work, erroneous charges and technicians who don't like to do Real Ear, although the audiologist in Albany did Real Ear.

So when I read that Kingston Audiology was under new management, I made an appointment to get some custom-fitted earplugs. I've had friends warn me about going to an independent audiology shop, since they've had bad experiences with high-pressure sales tactics. But that wasn't what I experienced at Kingston. I made an appointment with the audiologist, and was delighted with the care I got. Not only did Dr. Tilley fit me for the earplugs, she gave me some tips for ear health that my regular doctor has never mentioned. I generally like to get my health care from someone who's up to date on their field, and that appears to be true for ears, too. I'm very happy with my earplugs, and haven't had any more problems with water in my ear since I've been wearing them. I think I'm going to go back and have some custom earplugs for hearing protection made, too. I'm going to work harder to make sure I stave off as much hearing loss as I can, and I'm confident I've found a local partner to help me in that quest.
