She tested my hearing and set me up with a pair of hearing aids that she tweaked and adjusted to my specific needs. I sat on my back deck that night and listened to the rain for the first time in years. I no longer lose track of conversation and am able to once again enjoy nature sounds that I had not heard in years. I go back periodically for maintenance on my hearing aids and the Clarke School staff keeps them in top condition. If your hearing is failing, I cannot recommend Clarke School highly enough. When I call them and say I am sick now and I do not know what will happen if I wait until October, the receptionist says you should talk to you PC about that. We can not do anything regarding the appointment. If it is ethically and legally right, I have no complaints. After the actual exam, I was then told I'd receive the report within 48 hours. I finally received the report 14 days after the exam and after I had placed 2 phone calls and one email requesting it. I felt a real frostiness during my appointment once I made it clear that I was shopping around for hearing aids, and not necessarily purchasing them from this business. I felt like I was the recipient of a hard sell and when I didn't bite, I was made to feel uncomfortable. Perhaps I'm wrong, but the 2 week delay in the report feels vindictive.

They are very good about follow up, almost too good. Meaning they really do want you to be happy and hearing. I love my hearing aids. I wish I had gotten them sooner. I didn't realize how bad my hearing was until I went outside and heard all the birds for the first time in many years. My only issue bis the exorbitant price which for some reason insurance won't cover. Makes no sense at all. They will however cover you if you get hit by a car because you did not hear it. Or the depression that occurs because you can't hear well enough to have a conversation and you start to limit your social life. Go figure. But that is for our lawmakers to take care of.

Not only was the exam very thorough and professional but she clearly understood how to make a child feel comfortable and understand the exam process. I have been wearing hearing aids for 60 years with a profound hearing loss. I am a difficult fit and Samina was great in getting me a very good aid and kept the costs in check.
