The cost of their service overcharged me over $400 for oil change and tires rotation. They showed how dirty the air filter was and I let them change without asking how much they would charge me. I always mark my tires for my oil change. They have never ever ever rotated the tires. I have to point the marks out every time. If it's happening to me every visit they are probably not rotating anyone's tires. The manager said "I can't hold their hands." Sorry!!! read more

Lost truck from Hurricane Harvey. Purchased a truck through web sales at Mac Haik Madison. When truck was delivered it was a BAIT AND SWITCH. Truck delivered was not as advertised. I emailed this company about an Escalade they had on their website. They were sending it to auction for numerous reasons but the internet sales team didn't tell me that, they lied and said it was available. So after I told them I wasn't interested in their bait and switch games they admitted that it was being sent to auction but they have a better one available for me. I told them I changed my mind and would be buying my vehicle from another company. So they emailed me again the next day, and the next, and the next, and the next, and the next, and I responded every time to please stop sending the emails. I am still getting emails after responding 10 times to please stop. So I get another one today with a ladies name on it and it said she wanted to talk to me about my problem. So I called and was told she doesn't even work there anymore and hasn't for a long time. So I get transferred to a man named Michael who said he would have me removed from their list immediately. Problem is I never told him who I was, so I asked him how was he going to remove me if he didn't know who I was, he sat there for 10 or so seconds and said I don't know. So I hung up on him. I took my 2018 chev malibu car to mac hiak chev in Madison Ms, for an oil change. The service mgr informed me that i needed a cabinet filter change also, i had the service performed ($197.00 ) I picked the car up, while driving home the car shut off in the middle of the street. I called AAA , and had the car returned back to Mac hiak service department mgr. ( Ted ) Three weeks later the car has never been obsevered, or acknowledge that it was there, after 3 , or 4 phone calls. Bottom line, if you have problems with your car. Go to a Shade tree machanic before Mac Hiak. No joke. read more

I cannot praise the service department highly enough. I called Ted Smith Service Consultant at 7:20am to inquire about an appointment to repair none functional windshield wipers on my 2014 Chevrolet Equinox. Mr. Smith put me on hold briefly they had the parts in stock and that my problem was covered by a recall. Mr. Smith said if I could give them 2 hours they could repair the problem. I arrived at 8:00am and departed at 9:15am with my wipers repaired at no charge to me. I have never had such prompt and courteous service at any dealership. My car was in this dealership's possession for a week for a repair on the A/C Heater Blend Door Actuator. (Dropped off on November 10, 2021) My car was returned on November 17, 2021 with scratches in the exterior paint and scratches on my dashboard. Parts were missing on the inside of the car (rear view mirror). Caps were left off under my hood. My hood prop no longer works. My driver side floor mat was taken out and was not put back inside of my car. The air bag cover was not put back on correctly (driver side). I had to drive back to the dealership for my rug and car part covers. I am very dissatisfied. I paid this company $2500.00 cash for a repair and trusted this company's expertise to repair my vehicle and return it the condition that it was received. A shade tree mechanic could've done a better job!! My car is making a "waterfall sound". When I turned the defrost on, water shot out and water is leaking near my feet. Save your money and your time. omg!!! what is going on at this place? i have taken my 2017 camaro there 5 times but the person in service..jimmy steadman said he fixed something on the car but it's obvious, he doesn't know what is wrong with the car...i think mac haik sold me a lemon. the new lie is, the "gm" drove a new camaro and it makes the exact same noise that jimmy steadman was suppose to have fix....needless to say, it wasn't making that noise when it was bought...............shaking my head... read more
