    Purchased a Mercedes (new)car a year ago. for over 24…read morehours, I have been trying to reach someone in service. I have left six messages as well as calling at least 12 times being disconnected and treated unprofessionally this is so unacceptable.

    Just bought 2 brand new Mercedes from this dealership. After 10 hours of waiting to get paperwork…read moredone (combined for both), I finally had these two new vehicles. Went to take off the dealer paper plate and put my state tag on and the nut falls out of the plate bracket. Take it back to the dealerships as I can now only put 3 of the 4 screws in to secure the plate. After 40 minutes, my rep comes back and says it's going to be "850". I'm thinking $8.50 to put a nut back in to secure the bolt. Even then, I've had the car for 3 days. Try to speak to the Sales Manager, who has no time to speak to me, so find someone else in an office. He listens to me, who at this point is fed up, takes my keys to go look at the issue. I find him later looking at the car, he then tells me it's not $8.50, they want $850.00 to fix what was obviously broken before I bought this vehicle (yes, a BRAND NEW MERCEDES-BENZ bought 3 days before and 1 of 2 bought in 1 week, where all I did was unscrew the plate screws from the plate holder to put my state one on). Ask to speak to the Sales Manager, who once again has no time for me at that moment. Was told he will call me, to apparently get me to leave, since he never not. Guess what? Mercedes sells the brand new bracket (removable with 4 screws) for $54. Guess the $800 is labor for removing those 4 screws... or how they put the screws to a customer that just bought 2 brand new vehicles that week. I'm glad I have the plate bracket from the dealership. I don't have to say where I bought my two new vehicles when telling my horror story to every single person I talk to. Won't even have to tell them to avoid the 2 dealerships in the area owned by this company or the 5 within a 200 mile range. By the way, see the response from another corrected complaint and you'll know that parent company... easy to find. I'll eat the $54 piece of broken plastic you wanted to soak me for. In 3 years or less when we trade those 2 vehicles, there's other Mercedes dealerships we'll give our business to, or better yet we'll stimulate the area economy by buying a different brand from a company that treats their customers with dignity and respect.

Complaint submitted to Hyundai USA I am submitting this second formal complaint regarding Hallmark Hyundai in Ridgeland, Mississippi. This complaint builds upon my prior concerns and reflects what I now believe to be a clear and ongoing pattern of misrepresentation, non-performance, and failure to honor written commitments. In August 2025, I brought my 2013 Hyundai to Hallmark Hyundai due to repeated engine stalling. Prior to bringing the vehicle in, I spoke directly with dealership personnel and was assured that a full diagnostic evaluation would be performed to determine the root cause of the stalling issue. These assurances were repeated at the time of drop-off. The dealership retained my vehicle for approximately two weeks. During that period, I received no updates. When I began calling repeatedly to inquire about the status of the vehicle, I was suddenly informed that the vehicle had allegedly been completed several days earlier and that I had been contacted. I have no record of any such call. Notably, two days prior to that claim, one of the dealership's own service agents confirmed to me that the technician had not yet reviewed the vehicle. This inconsistency is deeply troubling. Before retrieving the vehicle, I was informed that the cause of the stalling had been narrowed to a faulty or clogged catalytic converter. However, when I arrived to pick up the vehicle, Service Manager Crystal Ward admitted that no substantive diagnostic testing had been performed. Specifically, she acknowledged that the vacuum system, fuel system, and other related components had not been tested and that only a visual inspection had been conducted. This directly contradicted prior representations that "all necessary systems would be checked during diagnostics." The dealership kept my vehicle for two weeks to conduct what was ultimately described as a visual inspection. Despite this limited review, I was presented with a proposed $4,000 catalytic converter replacement. Subsequently, independent exhaust and repair shops questioned why fundamental diagnostic steps -- including vacuum leak and fuel system checks -- were not performed first, as those are considered standard preliminary evaluations for stalling issues. Additionally, the dealership failed to properly diagnose a recurring gear shift malfunction. The vehicle repeatedly became stuck and required manual gear adjustment multiple times per day. Ms. Ward herself acknowledged observing the gear issue during her test drive. However, the dealership's mechanic later claimed he could not replicate the problem. When I attempted to drive the vehicle off the lot, the malfunction persisted. This sequence of events reflects a troubling pattern: Assurances of comprehensive diagnostics Extended retention of the vehicle Contradictory statements regarding work performed Admission that critical systems were not tested Recommendation of a $4,000 repair without completing basic diagnostic procedures Failure to accurately diagnose a transmission/gear issue observed by management Following this, I filed a complaint with the Mississippi Attorney General's Office. In response to the AG investigator, Robbie Gross of Hallmark Hyundai stated that my diagnostic fee would be refunded and that he would contact me directly. He did not contact me. Over a month later, the AG investigator followed up with me to confirm that I had not heard from him. I then reached out to Mr. Gross, who stated that a refund check would be mailed. Weeks passed with no check. When I requested confirmation or tracking information, none was provided. I was later told the check had been mailed to an incorrect address and would be reissued and mailed on a specified Tuesday. Again, no tracking was provided, and no check was received. I subsequently attempted to contact higher management, including individuals identified to me as Bennie Channing and a Mr. Vanderstip. Multiple messages were left. No one returned my calls. At this point, the issue is no longer limited to diagnostic quality. It reflects: Repeated contradictory statements Failure to perform represented services Failure to honor refund commitments made through the Attorney General's Office Failure of dealership leadership to respond This conduct raises serious concerns about Hallmark Hyundai's operational integrity and compliance with Hyundai's service standards. I am formally requesting: Immediate confirmation of refund issuance, including verifiable proof of mailing and tracking. Review by Hyundai Corporate of this dealership's service practices and customer communication protocols. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will be exploring additional legal and regulatory remedies. I am requesting corporate intervention at this stage due to the dealership's documented pattern of non-response and misrepresentation.
