Let me be real with you - After reading the most recent Yelp reviews of the Florham Park location,…read moreI walked in this morning a bit nervous about my CAC scan at Summit Medical Group. I'd been scheduled for this scan by my primary care physician during my annual checkup exam, so I didn't see what Yelp had to say about Florham Park beforehand. Boy was I surprised when I looked online and saw all the 1-Stars and testimonials (!!!) Because of the timing, there was no backing out or way for me to schedule somewhere else. So I went in this morning with some trepidation. Fortunately I had a good patient experience overall. For imaging, I would definitely come back to the Florham Park location again (140 Park Ave Building). Pros: ** Easy to drive there off of Columbia Turnpike. It's close to FDU -Florham. ** Nice campus. It's huge with more than ample parking and even covered parking structures for bad weather ** Imaging department is located as soon as you enter the main entrance doors of 140. It will be to your left. ** The waiting room is nice and they had HGTV playing on the TV ** The woman at Registration was polite, friendly, and informative ** The technician who performed my scan was professional, knowledgeable, and patient with explaining to me what would happen (which I really appreciate) ** The facilities once you enter past the registration area, equipment, and rooms looked good to me. There's a hallway with blue flowers painted on the walls, and on the ceiling above the machine there are images of the sky and flowers (so you can focus on those and relax while you are being x-rayed). Cons: ** So far, none... It's too early for the results and billing didn't happen yet. Hopefully the results will be uploaded to the portal in a timely fashion (in contrast to a fellow Yelper's review from last month). I don't know if that's a Summit Health computer system thing or human error though. We'll see what happens. Again, I would definitely come back to the Florham Park location (140 Park Ave) in the future for imaging services.

Went for a simple CAC scan at the 150 bldg. at Summit Health...Woman was wonderful who did the…read moreactual scan. BUT I would never go back as I STILL haven't received ALL of The results and it's been 10 days. The girl/ woman who answered the phone in imaging apparently shouldn't be as she was quite curt. I eventually called my Dr. and he called back to give me results. PS. I still see nothing in my "portal" and the girl said it will be uploaded . LOLOLOL. Sad that people who have jobs can't handle them. Thank goodness I go for most of my care at RWJ Barnabas as they know what they're doing . Sad sad sad world we live in today. If you don't advocate for yourself , you're basically well you know.......

This was all within a few hours of when the pain began. She requested some blood work which i got done and results were in a day after my visit. This provided me considerable peace of mind. And within 2 days it was clear that nothing terrible was amiss. Just a muscle pull. Thank you so much to Elfie Wagner, APN.

Initially, I saw Dr. Resciniti for different symptoms I was experiencing and felt heard. Unfortunately, by my second appointment, I got the response that my bloodwork was fine and I felt very dismissed. After several months (&visits) and several of their physicians/nurse practitioners just offering to do the same tests/same bloodwork, I decided to get a second opinion. Found out I had celiac after just one round of bloodwork from another doctor. I had all of the symptoms of celiac, yet they failed to test for it, let alone even mention it as a possibility, or even ASK about my diet. I spent THOUSANDS of dollars on out of pocket expenses and 13 months of suffering because of that one oversight. More importantly, they wanted to prescribe me medication for anxiety that was unnecessary, because they misdiagnosed me. Also tried to schedule sick visits on numerous occasions since and found that they couldn't even do that for me, EVER, leaving me to visit urgent care centers and incur more out-of-pocket expenses. The most recent attempt to make a visit was my last straw. After calling 4 times, I finally got through to someone and asked to make an appointment. Their response was "We have one doctor in the office and no appointments, sorry." Don't waste your time or money here.

Fennelly has a reputation for diagnosing patients quickly and liberally. Fennelly hands out…read morediagnoses like he's handing out candy. Fennelly also tends to prescribe the same medications over and over again. Based on this, there is a high likelihood that he's profiting from pharmaceutical companies by pushing specific drugs, so be mindful of this. If he suggests a medication that makes you uncomfortable, tell him no. Fennelly also has a habit of condescending and shaming the patient, which is a dangerous environment for seeking treatment. He should unwaveringly be of the mindset that there is nothing you did to "deserve" or "cause" your mental illness, and there is nothing shameful about being mentally ill or seeking treatment. Still, Fennelly historically makes the patient feel bad about their condition. His lack of humility is dangerous because he believes he does not make mistakes. Yes, he has an advanced degree, but this does not mean that he is all-knowing and all-powerful. If you do decide to see this doctor, do not be afraid to get a second opinion.

After a LONG search for a psychiatrist for my one daughter we found Dr. Fennelly. I met him…read moreinitially and was pretty happy with what he said. However as time wore on and the bills kept on coming (he accepts no insurance - shortest visit will set you back $165.00), and my daughter didn't seem to benefit from the therapy I was not impressed any longer, though I did tell her to give it more time and follow what he recommended since he was the professional. My daughter ended up on 2 powerful prescriptions that was making her a zombie. When prescribed Depakote I asked for the generic, he wrote it for Depakote anyway at $108.00 per month! It took my pharmacist numerous calls for him to change to generic $20.00 per month. He was stating that the generic wasn't as good - yet the pharmacist insisted that it was. That did not bode ethically well with me. Then he added Prozac to the miix. My daughter came home from a few visits with some disturbing comments he was making about myself and her father. He only spoke to me briefly and never met her father yet said things that were out-of-school and not related to her issues my opinion. Long story short - I do not recommend him. I think he is a pill pusher and more interested in getting paid (immediately) than in the patient. When my daughter told him that she no longer wanted to use the meds (which she and I discussed and I told her it was her choice) he berated her and myself stating that I wasn't a good parent for agreeing. Not only was she not feeling well but her hair was falling out in clumps almost as bad as a chemotherapy patient. It took the pharmacist to recommend Biotin to help. Dr. Fennelley was totally uncaring and disparaging when my daughter asked it these meds caused the hair loss. You are treating someone with a fragile self-image and anxiety and when her hair is falling out in clumps you brush (no pun intended)her off as what is the big deal. It is a BIG deal to anyone!!!!! Empathy would have been much more effective. I never had much faith in psychiatrists and the like, but wanted to do what was best for my child. In the end my feelings proved right. The only person that can truly help someone is the person themselves, IF they want to get better.. This is just wasted time and lots of money. My daughter is working hard to make it a go on her own. Mind over matter.
