Michael and Leah are both SO incredible at what they do. They make you feel welcome immediately as you walk in, and are both so beyond knowledgeable about their practice. When you receive the acupuncture, massage, and/or cupping, they tell you what they're about to do and why it will help you before they do it, which is so reassuring in this type of environment. I was really excited to try acupuncture for the 1st time to deal with pain in my arm. The acupuncture treatment was extremely painful and I ended up with a large bruise on my arm about the size of a small apple and another bruise about the size of a quarter on the top of my foot. I was unable to move my arm during the treatment. I was left in a room for over 30 minutes and was not checked on during the session. Other than my arm and foot, the other areas that were treated were not painful. I would have ended the session if given the chance. I would not recommend this business. read more

I tend to trust my instincts about about a place more than recommendations, reviews, and certainly more than ads, so I found this clinic online and went there to see how I felt about it. I was immediately impressed by Michael and the general calm atmosphere of the office. After being told by others, a number of times, that my problem would be solved by acupuncture, his honesty in telling me there would be temporary relief, but it would not last long, really sold me. My instinct served me well. After my appointment, I left feeling great and the next day my back and knees were so much improved. My sinus problems did return and will require more effort. My first experience was pretty good. I did wait 15 minutes in the beginning for Michael to begin. My time in the room was 52 minutes including dressing/undressing and the chat about my areas of need. The acupuncture was likely 30 minutes with five minutes between the acupuncture and the massage. The acupuncture relaxed me, I dozed and and out. I ended up feeling awake when he pulled out the needles. He used a lot of pressure with the massage which is great when you have a lot of knots. My second experience was not so great. I think the sheets may have been dirty. Makeup on the sheet covering the face cushion, a small pebble in the sheet near my hips. I was in the room 10 minutes before Michael began, 8 minutes alone. Needles were in 45 minutes. I didn't realize until one in the pad of my foot was removed that my toes had been numb, they tingles back into reality. There was only a 5 minute massage-ish thing with a short massage by the neck, then arms, followed by a ton of thrusting where my body jolted around, I think he added a couple chiropractic things with popping my wrists and legs. I said my first time that I did not want to go to a chiropractor because I don't like the popping of my joints. I did not think I needed to repeat it. My left wrist has felt a bit icky since then "pop" but it'll be ok. The jolting was a bit vigorous, not massage like and his dry hands felt like they were pulling at my skin. I wanted to love it but I did not. I can not go here again. read more

Michael "Mike" was a good dude - Glad to have someone with a chill and enjoyable personality putting little needles in you, rather than someone with tense and unnerving mannerisms! :P Its hard to speak to the quality of the services we received since this was my first acupuncture experience, but I will say it was a very intriguing and relaxing experience, and I feel pleasant on this, the morning after. (Hard to say for certain that this IS or ISN'T placebo effect.) I am definitely considering going again though. read more

I'd been wanting to try acupuncture for a while, and picked up the Groupon to check it out. Michael took the time to understand what I'd been experiencing (both mental and physical) that prompted my visit. My immediate impression was that he genuinely cared about my well-being and wanted to help. His bedside manner was also very good, he was patient with my concerns and explained the process as well as what the needles themselves would feel like. I am now a repeating and scheduled client. I came into town only for the week and needed acupuncture very badly for my chronic neck pain. Michael was incredibly kind and extremely knowledgable. The acupuncture was ok but it was suppose to be a half and half appointment. Half acupuncture and half massage. The massage ended up being only 10 minutes and the acupuncture lasted for like 45 minuets which consisted of me sitting alone in a room waiting for my massage. The massage was incredibly rough and not even relieving. Just abrupt and too violent. He seemed to over busy himself with two other people in the office as well. That seemed like too much to me considering it's literally only one guy. read more

I got a Groupon for a 60 minute session of acupuncture and massage. Michael was great! I was extremely nervous as this was my first time trying acupuncture. He made me feel relaxed and just told me to yell if I felt nervous! There were only a couple of the needles that felt uncomfortable and Michael fixed them right away for me. A couple minutes into it, I was beyond relaxed. After the acupuncture, I received a massage which was awesome! He has a sliding scale for sessions and it is from $40-60 depending on your income. I think it's awesome that he is a lot cheaper as he cares more about more people being able to receive this service! I will definitely be back in the future :) read more
