I spend a small fortune on clothes and I have been a customer of Anthropologie for many years and I make purchases constantly. I purchased two tops that were a huge disappointment they were at full price, yet the material was awful thin & scratchy and see through also one of the tops wasn't completely sewn it had a huge hole in it at the seam. I had to wait 3 weeks for the inventory to come in for them to ship it to me and I immediately cut off the tags but realized they were awful and 1 was damaged. Returned them to the Westport store the next day after receiving them in the mail. The sales lady was high and almighty saying she would do me the favor just this one time but the tags need to be on for a return. WHAT HAPPEND TO GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE INSTEAD OF APOLOGIZING FOR MY INCONVENIENCE ONE WAS DAMAGED AND I HAD TO WAIT FOREVER TO RECEIVE THEM JUST TO TURN AROUND AND RETURN THEM THE NEXT DAY! There is definitely something for everyone. I left with a sequined cocktail dress that I intend to wear to my grandson's wedding ( so you can guess my age group) as well as an elegant top to dress up a pair of white jeans. Both set me back under $120. Amazing. There's an Emanuel jacket that I may have to return to buy. It was under $50. While I was there, the younger set was busy finding tiny dress treasures and YSL handbags. This was a sophisticated/ mixed age group. I overheard many shoppers tell Erin that they had been eagerly anticipating the store opening as they watched the changes she has made to the property over the past few months. You can tell she loves her store. Erin was beaming as she helped shoppers put outfits together. One woman looked so gorgeous in a long sequined evening gown that her companions audibly gasped. When the woman questioned whether her daughter ( the bride ) would think it suitable for the wedding party, Erin encouraged her to bring it home to physically show her daughter! WHAAAT? I wondered if she knew her personally, but, no. Erin told me it was just the right thing to do. You cannot believe the inside! Paint pens are available to write messages on the bright pink bathroom walls. Those left there after just one day were so cute.
