There was no odor of any kind in the store, that sometimes happens, and my daughter even purchased a summer dress. The store is very neat and orderly - clothing is arranged by size and color (to the best of their ability), the housewares section is neat and tidy, the book section is concise and easy to navigate, and the aisles are set with enough space for people to browse and pass one another without playing the game of "are we going to rub our bodies together in the pandemic?" - a game we all shudder with dread at. I will also say that this store does a good job of pricing things fairly, particularly when you compare them to their Westport counterpart. If you're looking for a deal - particularly on clothing - this is going to be a great location to browse!

The greenhouses are packed with beautiful plants and I return often because the selection changes rapidly. This is a great place to order plants for fund raising events too. There are horses and other animals at the farm and lots of greenhouses. Staff is helpful. Only cash and checks are accepted but not cards so remember them before leaving home.

And you don't have to put the hand deep in your pocket since you can find something for all budgets. My $65 small wooden table is cute- but I'll funktify it with a color to suit my style. Service from Terri towards the end was friendly and Hunter made sure he got my table out in one piece in these tight corners. Don't mind returning.

They have vintage items, modern items, new items, used items...it's not a huge store but it's definitely one that has been crafted with love, that's for sure. My boyfriend actually discovered this store a few weeks ago and we stopped in on a whim. I found a super lovely pair of sterling silver earrings for $4, a game, a ceramic deer for $1, and a few other odds and ends my boyfriend liked. Some of the items will definitely be a bit higher priced than say...goodwill...but the mission of this shop is one I support wholeheartedly and I am grateful to see my money going back into a community resource such as this. I constantly recommend it to my friends who do not know about it. The staff, manager and volunteers, couldn't be nicer or more helpful. During Covid, they have implemented all the precautions required/recommended including masks, plexiglass shield at checkout and arrows to help us wend our way through the magic safely. Anyone who says those things are not there must either have been somewhere else or is lying. It is a great place that is such a fun way to be able to contribute to those in need in our community. And some of those expensive pieces need some reno loving. Mostly reupholstering for couches/chairs and refinishing hard-wood tables. The annex holds the clothing, books, house nick-nack pieces and personal accessories. Display doors can be challenging to move but don't need the help of a sales assistant. There are some really great prices for the random pieces that find their way into this store. I'm looking forward to coming back to this store.
