This place is a gem. There are Japanese movies here that you can't find anywhere else, and always…read morefor fair prices. Most of the movies don't have English subtitles, but some do. I've never gotten a bad movie here--even ones I've never heard of that I get on a lark turn out to be good. If you want to expand your horizons beyond what few Japanese movies get US distribution, this is the place. Wonderful contemporary Japanese directors like Naoko Ogigami (who should be known in the US but isn't yet) are well represented.

Sold me 2 Blu rays- Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind and Princess Mononoke. The price special was…read more2 blu rays for $30. Princess Mononoke worked in my PS3 and was a legitimate copy of the Japan Blu ray release, and looked gorgeous. UNFORTUNATELY Nausicaa did not work. I put it in the Blu Ray drive in my computer and saw that it had "0 bytes used, 0 bytes free." So I am not sure if there was just nothing on it or just corrupted. Either way the store should take responsibility for testing discs before selling them... very disappointing. I cannot return it either as I'm back in Atlanta. So a warning- check your discs at the store if you can before buying.
